I’m trying to envision the differences between my old (2008) and new 2019 ranger (on order), particularly the height between the bed floor and the cab roof. The Gen 5 is 40” but I can’t find the specs on the previous version. Trying to see if there will be more headroom in the new truck with a cab high topper.

From what I can tell these are the other specs for the 6’ beds

Length, width at tailgate, max width, width between wheels, bed height, cargo capacity

Gen 5 – 72.8”, 55.4”, 61.4”, 44.8”, 20.8”, 51.8 ft3

Gen 4 - 72.8”, 54.2”, 52”, 40.5”, 16.5”, ?

Hard to tell, can you measure the height of the bed to top of cabs?

The bed depth is certainly more on the new truck. I remember how cool my 2001 off road looked when I got it, now it a toy compared to the 2019s.
