@AzScorpion - I've got my own overdue wash coming up this weekend. I've ordered one of those absorber chamois towels that you posted a while back. Looking forward to trying it out!
You'll really like it Adam and just remember they tend to work better as the age. At first the tend to smear water a little bit but not to bad. I've had mine for close to 20 years and I also have another new one I use occasionally to start breaking it in. Hopefully they didn't change anything and cheapen them out over the last few year.

I got a few things sorted over the past week. New tires, first car wash since I drove it off the lot (not counting self wash 🧽), H7 battery upgrade and Livernois tune. I love this truck!

Drove it to the Ford dealer to diagnose a failing drive shaft center support bearing.
I can’t complain at this point. The truck has 148,000 miles on it and this is the very first actual “broke-fix” issue I’ve had and the truck will be five years old next month. It has performed absolutely flawless to this point. I would love to have a new Ranger but am scared I would get a lemon so I’ll just keep this one. It has had every single service recommended by Ford since day one and goes in every 5000 miles for whatever it needs. I’m very happy still.

Oil change today.
New Tires, Deflators, and TPS sensors tomorrow.

A local tire shop quoted me $160 to mount & balance 4 tires..... 🖕that💩

Ford dealership quoted me $55 for the same work.

My appointment is at 2:00. They always save me a bay and take my truck in right away when i schedule a time. The oil change took 30 minutes today.

*this is the only reason I would consider a full sized truck. It can barely hold 3 tires.

If the $160 was for a proper road force balance, those heavy AF Grabbers really need it (I run them on my truck) and the price wasn’t that bad considering the deflator installation and TPMS swap.

Also, your rear doors open the wrong way. If they opened the other way, you’d be able to get all four tires in the back. ;)

When I bought a set of tires off a dude on FB I found the best way to transport was to put all four stood up on their side with some ratchets holding them together. No problem, just popped up the folding tonneau
