I donāt think Iāve ever seen an uglier decal than all the faux emergency vehicle crap on that bronco. Just try to watch that video with a straight face. My favorite part, besides the hilarious giant badge on the side, is the word āBRONCOā directly above another āBRONCOā on the front, but the one...
For me it was my brake pads. Specifically one of the front ones. It was missing those springs that keep it from rattling and would make a horrible noise on bumps and uneven roads. It was driving me nuts until I finally figured it out. Iād try to move them up and down with your hands and see if...
Is it okay to step on the bumper in front of the license plate to boost yourself up? I usually do that but seeing hitch steps makes me wonder if maybe Iām not supposed to be doing thatā¦
Took a little trip to the olā park- not notable, but the motivation for this post was I realized this is the first and only vehicle Iāve ever owned where I not only turn around to look at it but feel the motivation to take a picture or two. Definitely my favorite vehicle.
Smart man, that bolt was a massive pain. I basically ran a series of wobble extensions all the way up through the engine bay and was able to get it off using a breaker bar that way. Wouldnāt recommend that method, definitely felt pretty sketchy. You need wobble if youāre going out through the...
I still have you to thank for pointing me in the right direction on the height setting. Othersā advice was helpful but it was great to see what it would actually look like on my rangerās twin! Definitely very happy with the 1.8 and not sure if I wouldāve wanted to get any higher
Was able to handle some pretty severe weather conditions this morning to get to the gamelands for some target practice. Roads were terrible this morning but 4H plus my snow tires plus driving slowly got me there in one piece. Grabbed some lunch afterwards when the roads were cleared up. See if...
Ulysses was feeling extra festive after installing the 5100s and leveling out the front, so I thought a $20 roll of lights from Walmart couldnāt hurt.
Names Ulysses because I grew up a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard, but being a Yankee boy myself have to rep the General Grant.
Lots of folks...
I have a garmin GPS that has satellite messaging capabilities and definitely feel like I get my moneyās worth. When youāre up in the mountains of rural PA hunting itās good to have a tether to civilization to keep folks updated as to where I am (and have the SOS capabilities)
Iām not sure how well it shows in the picture but definitely a major improvement. 1.8ā level with 265/70/17 is great, lots of compliments from my friends who noticed!
It was drilling three holes, they provide a little template for getting it lined up correctly. It didnāt take long and I found the process pretty straightforward
Mine currently in the shop today. Getting Bilstein 5100s in the front at 1.8inch lift setting (I was able to put the rears in myself), a four wheel alignment, and rust proof undercoating done. Not excited to see what the bill comes out to but probably money well spent.
When I bought a set of tires off a dude on FB I found the best way to transport was to put all four stood up on their side with some ratchets holding them together. No problem, just popped up the folding tonneau
Thanks for the replies and pics guys! I think Iām gonna do the 1.8ā setting just because I do like the looks but itās just slightly too aggressive for me.
