Not crazy ant all and if that's what you need/want go for it! Everyone's needs change over the years and many here have traded theirs in for F150's because either their families grew, needed a larger truck for towing or just wanted more comfort. I always had F150's but my need for a larger truck grew less and less so the Ranger is now the perfect size for me. Either way you're going to have a very nice truck....Good Luck!!

AGREED! I have always loved the Ford F150, but it is really more truck than I needed, and as Dave said, the Ranger is the perfect size for what I use it for. The old 18 F150 that I sold to my Dad, he loves it, it's exactly what he wanted.
Best of luck, and Happy and Safe Travels!šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤˜

As one that can say that they miss the Ranger a bit, I still enjoy the vehicle I have a bit more than the Ranger and that is thanks to the way it is setup.

Regardless you should look at what the needs and wants are. Of course you should focus on the needs first. Just be aware that an asshole massager is not necessary......

After just over two years of ownership I think I'm jumping ship! New F150 on hold and possibly picking up tomorrow.

2025 XLT FX4.

Am I crazy?
Not crazy, everyone has different needs and wants! I went the opposite way and downsized. Had an f150 for years, it doubled as my daily driver and work truck. When we moved out of town and I started my current job, I no longer needed a full size truck. The biggest thing I tow is my 12’ fishing boat and the ranger has more than enough power to pull it. It’s better on gas and gets me places I could never go before with a full size truck. I have no regrets!

With a baby on the way, I’ve definitely considered going back to a full size truck but I’m not ready to part with my ranger just yet. Especially after I’ve dumped so much money into upgrades and accessories! Lol If anything, I’ll convince the wife to trade hers in for an SUV. I plan on driving mine until the wheels fall off or the transmission self destructs… Whichever comes first lol. Then I’ll rebuild it into a full blown crawler and get another daily driver.
