Don't feel bad...it's the price we pay for big mods...the best I get on highway is 19...big tire, weight, wider stance, RTT and leveling all kills the milage...

259 miles, nowhere near long enough for a true reading. And the truck is notoriously off in the first half of the tank. Average that for a few tank fulls and I'll be impressed. :like:

I just got back from 6300 mile road trip to portland and points between. With GFC camper 80mph on the highway and loaded to the gills. I got 20.3 MPG. I'm more impressed with that. 280 miles isn't even getting groceries to me. What REALLY impressed me is how well the truck handled everything. I passed a few tacomas struggling up hill without a load.

Me also. Our recent vaca was all northern mountains and hills type of driving. Biggest struggle was a downshift from 10th to 9th. Averaged between 22 and 23.3. Like you said, handled everything well!

After 4,000 miles, the 'puter reports a combined Avg of 25.5, but my calculations say 24.2, so not too far off. On flat interstate at 65 mph with cruise, in real time MPG shows between 28 an 30. I haven't done any extended long drives yet, mostly 54 mile round trips to work and back.

The most I can seem to get on the highway at 65mph with nothing in the truck besides me and my wide is 26. Bump it up to 70mph to 72mph and it drops to 24. I am tuned from Unleashed with 93 octane, leveled with 1" wheel spacers. .... that being said, I'm not complaining about the MPG!
