I use the same sticks! Well, I've never used them, but I like the piece o

I also carry one on each side and just replaced my two kitchen extinguishers (5# and 20#) with a 100-second stick.

As a past firefighter, I still prefer the standard extinguisher, but the current-lazy me let's them expire ... so what you have is absolutely for the win!

Great to know that I have some good stuff!

Great to know I have some good stuff! Really I got it for when my wife and I are in the mountains. We never do a campfire, just for if in case someone else needs it. A great way to pay it forward.

Over the last week I completely rewired my aux electrical. I had a weird failure in my ham radio. At first, it would cut off when I tried to transmit and the temperature was high, then it wouldn't turn on at all. My last wiring iteration was to make a factory looking wiring loom where everything was bundled together super pretty and had junction/breakaway joints but I learned, quite quickly, that it was impossible diagnose the failure inside that loom (completely wrapped in electrical tap and looking quite nice). In order to eliminate the failure I had to replace the wire from the firewall to the battery.

Since then, I have shielded each circuit with PET Expandable Braided Sleeving to keep it protected and now, if a device fails, I can troubleshoot that single item without a complete disassembly. It doesn't look nearly as sexy but... its a whole helluva lot easier.

Also - no pictures because its all tucked away.

Got my brother to come over and help me install my new awning. Install was super easy after I tracked down the correct T Bolts to work with my Yakima Jet Stream bars.

I’ll test it out early next week when we get our first early fall like weather pattern. Looking forward to needing a light jacket and a fire while camping in the mountains a couple nights.

I think what I like best about your Magnetic topper is how it really sets off the lines of that beautiful SuperCab - FTW!

I wasn’t sure about driving to buy it sight unseen, but as soon as we put it on the truck I knew it was a perfect match. Glad I didn’t color match or get black.

Finally took the time to drop the headliner and sound deaden the roof. It made a world of difference. About 10 dB drop in noise (its hard to tell a hard number because my kid kept screaming messing up my numbers). I did the test on the same stretch of highway at 70 mph though, and I can tell a difference.

There is a small chance I will add another layer to the rear tub and wall area but...it is a small chance. I think, for now, my sound deadening journey is complete.
I really wanna do my roof but thats gonna have to be a project for later. You did a great job, was that one of the precut kits?

maybe this is the better story. 🤣
@Colo_Ranger if it makes your pain ease up, several years ago I was laying on my side on the garage floor putting the tension spring on a mower deck. I felt the wife's cheap pair of slip joint pliers start to do just that slip...its amazing what goes thru your mind before you have a dumbarse attack. I thought I should grab my good pliers, nah the springs almost over the bolt, pull it a tiny bit more and the pliers let loose and I remember thinkin oh this is gonna hurt...whack. hit my right eye brow at the bridge of my nose, split the skin down to the eye socket. Hadn't bled that much in a long time. I called my doc and said do you have time for a dumbarse attack because im on my way in. 3 stitches later and the next day I was at a 3 day conference and I had to explain what happened about 50 times. I should've just stood up on a chair and told the room right off the bat and got it over with! Live and learn and bleed less LOL

After painting my grill letters i reinstalled my grill. When I took it out I laid it face down on a blanket and saw screws on the back, took them all out and the FORD assembly wiggled, yaaaa it comes off, NO masking off the rest of the grill. It has push on snaps in several spots, the only difficult ones are slotted ones in the center at the top, if you're patient and use a really small slotted screw driver you can pop them off undamaged.

Me, I just wear this t-shirt everyday for a few days after such events. The folks who know me don’t ask questions.

This one’s yours to keep, Mike.

I had something similar and had to get a Rectaloptomy, sometimes called an Optalrectomy.

They cut the nerve that runs between your arse and your eyeballs - it gets rid of your shitty outlook on life.

🥁 🥁 🥁

I’m here all week, try the special.

Duke isn't it uncanny how the human race knows no borders or language barrier for dumbarse attacks and i am guessing some curse words sound the same as well.
