I don't remember the exact weight ? that day , maybe 350lbs in the very back, rode like a dream and had me considering leaving it in full time...

Thank you. I appreciate any support! My tires are all ~32psi. I don’t have the add-a-leaf on my leaf pack. I believe it’s set to the medium height adjustment. No lift pucks in the front. I don’t have my rooftop tent on it currently, but that makes a minimal difference in ride quality.

What did you drive before this? For a truck this one is a bit ancient when it comes to suspension geometry and modernization. Honestly it is why I like it lol. It has old school truck vibes.

But in all honesty you might be expecting a bit much. Or the Fox shocks are not up to the task of the extra rear height.

Is it the front or rear that seems worse? I cut down my rear bump stops because they always made contact and felt like I was getting some prison love.

Like the song said, get a big woman to marry you. And you can be happy for the rest of your life. Make her ride out back, perfect ride and cant hear the complaints.

Icon leafs....
It's a variable system. Did you use all the leaves or did they leave some off?
If you used everything on a truck with no extra weight, you'd certainly be unhappy. I used everything but I have a steel smartcap, awning, battery system, and a boatload of other stuff.

It definitely feels like the rear end is the problem. I don’t feel the bumps and vibrations through the steering wheel or on the dash, if I put my hand up there. It’s all through the seat.

Icon leafs are at medium height. No added leaf. Even with a 200lb tent and the bed full of camping gear, it still vibrates the crap out of me and my passenger. I can feel every small bump through my seat, on and off road.

Mine rides pretty good stock. You may want to revert everything back to stock if it bothers you.
I really hated the ride stock.. every upgrade I’ve done has made a small improvement. My expectations may just be too high for a body on frame vehicle with leaf springs.

if the camber/caster is out then it could ride like it is on bricks
That’s a good point. I’ve never noticed the truck pulling, or uneven tire wear. I rotate my tires every 5k. My tires have a slight amount of positive camber. I think that’s normal for trucks though, right?

Was there ever a time when you were happy with the mods? Like when it was first installed or was it unpleasant from the moment of install?
My Foxes are now in my shed and I'm on 6112 / 5160's.

Ok take a picture of where the leaf hits the bump stops. The icons are thicker and you might not have the space needed before contacting them. Just a thought.

My Fox 2.0s were tuned & installed by Roush when the truck was new. They're great on the road. Almost sportscar-like. My 1st time off road and the rear started bouncing all over the place at 35 mph. 2nd time off road and I packed a cooler of ice & beer, 2 heavy tool boxes (in case something breaks),a bunch of recovery gear, and my box of cleaning supplies for the spray down on the way home. It probably weighted close to 300 lbs. with all the stuff I packed in the bed. The extra weight kept the rear more planted and the ride was a lot smoother. It was stable up to 60 mph on dirt roads and up to 45 mph off road. I hit @ 55 mph on the dirt drag strip but that was damn near outta control.

Okay all. I have a 21 XLT. I have Fox 2.0s front and back, Icon Leaf Springs, stock UCA, and Falken Wildpeak AT3s. My truck STILL rides like hell. I can feel literally every small divet and bump in the road. Off road it shakes me to pieces. It feels like I’m riding in a wooden chariot. I’ve had my truck since new and it has ~30k miles on it. I see people on this forum talk about how they love the way their truck drives and unfortunately, I just never have. I’m nervous to spend more $ on upgrades if it really is a lost cause. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I have Fox 2.0 front and rear and honestly, they are amazing on and off-road. I say this having a strong and long history with setting up vehicles, suspension, etc. I strongly suspect it's your Icon leaf springs. I run stock leaf's and again, with the Fox kit, it's really good.

The only reason I upgraded the leafs was because the stock parabolic leafs were absolutely atrocious in ride quality. The icons made a noticeable improvement. Just still not great.
