Okay all. I have a 21 XLT. I have Fox 2.0s front and back, Icon Leaf Springs, stock UCA, and Falken Wildpeak AT3s. My truck STILL rides like hell. I can feel literally every small divet and bump in the road. Off road it shakes me to pieces. It feels like I’m riding in a wooden chariot. I’ve had my truck since new and it has ~30k miles on it. I see people on this forum talk about how they love the way their truck drives and unfortunately, I just never have. I’m nervous to spend more $ on upgrades if it really is a lost cause. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Alright what is your tire pressure? That would be my first check.

post a side view picture of your truck.

do you have the add a leaf from icon in the pack? Additional lift pucks on the front?

We are here to help so dont take anything I say as pointing out stupidity or anything.

300lbs of sand bags for my ranger made it ride better, however I won't say it made it ride great.
But for $25 in sandbags, Well worth the investment.

My frontier rides better than the ranger but at the end of the day it still handles like a Mid-size truck.
SUVs or fullsize trucks tend to ride better than midsize/small ones.

So, you bought a full frame/body on TRUCK........and then you installed heavy duty springs and shocks. Installed heavy lugged tires.....and now your complaining that it rides like a......TRUCK !!!!
What exactly are you after ?
If you want a car like ride, get a Ridgeline or a wussy "truck" like a Hyundai "cartruck".
Of course you could always install squshy shocks/springs and passenger car tires....that may smooth out the ride.....

When I got my first 4x4, I expect to go floating over the desert like a Trophy truck at 90mph...nope...firstly, we don't have 10" worth of travel with dual remote reservoir dampers...reality is we have a truck for hauling heavy stuff and heavy stuff requires heavy springs...soft ride and stiff springs don't go together...bottom line? For street trucks there no choice but to slow down when off road...when I get on extended unpaved roads, I'd drop the air down to 20 psi or less and keep the speed down for comfort...

Well… yeah! I just want my truck to ride like a Rolls Royce. That can’t be too much to ask.

Thank you. I appreciate any support! My tires are all ~32psi. I don’t have the add-a-leaf on my leaf pack. I believe it’s set to the medium height adjustment. No lift pucks in the front. I don’t have my rooftop tent on it currently, but that makes a minimal difference in ride quality.

Sorry I don't see anything that you did to the truck that would make it ride better? My 2019, factory stock does not ride bad overall.

I put Fox 2,0 shocks on my Jeep and it vastly improved the ride. Eibach Pro-Truck on my Ranger and same thing. Eibach are stiffer than Fox. Fox shocks are heavy duty but designed to smooth out rough rides. Agreed that it won't ride like a car but it should be pretty pleasant off road. I can buzz dirt roads at 35 - 40 MPH comfortably in my Ranger.
