if you pop 'long range america' into the forum search bar, you'll find many discussions and installation information

I did that, but could only find people talking about it as an option, no one with first hand experience. But maybe my Google-fu could use some refinement.

I’ve installed two, kinda sucks even with a lift. Go into the install with an empty tank is the most I can help from Denver ?

I've seen it talked about, but has anyone had the Long Range America fuel tank installed?

https://longrangeamerica.com/product/ford-ranger-2019-2023---37-gallon-replacement

I'm considering springing for the upgrade but am looking for some first hand accounts, my big tires, tune, and other mods have me down to about 18.5mpg, and with occasional towing it just makes for EV-like range anxiety.

I have the tank and I am one of the two that @Goyo86 installed. Its worth every penny and the install wasn't too bad for me ( ). I get 500-600 to a tank, though I usually fill up around 1/4-1/2 tank. My goal is to run the Pony Express and I will need the range. Ask away, I will answer.

Does it add to the terrible driver side lean? ??

I'm so far from stock, it isn't fair to compare. That being said, I have the BP51 front and rear with 2.2" lift springs from OME. I don't have a lean, even when my fat ass is in there.

Quick way to lose about 150-160lb of payload to increased tank and fuel volume when full.

The really cool thing about bigger gas tanks is - you don't have to fill them ;)... sincerely a pilot.

There are plenty of ways to mitigate that. The proper suspension parts make a huge difference. Just ask the Australians about it. When you are one to travel remote for long periods of time, it is common to do stuff like this.

I will also add that for Australia they have to meet the ADR Compliance for certain things like this for Road Safety. ADR Compliance is a bit.kore strict than US DOT. Keep that in mind.

If you’re not going to use the capacity all the time, why is this better than just carrying a couple of 5 gallons on the occasion that range is a concern.

Because not all have a safe way of carrying extra fuel cans

I would absolutely use it all the time. The other poster was concerned about payload.

I am the other tank @Goyo86 installed. Love it. No issues helps with range, once again modded suspension so not sure on lean. It’s been flawless for me, install was long even with his second time but he has the kinks worked out.
