And here's a great way to move your spare to your hitch, while retaining access to said hitch.

https://www.rigdsupply.com/?gad=1&g...C9EBOpDlLqmSYwUJXnGQGziaWmsq8DQBoCvJsQAvD_BwE

Anyone running big tires or spending a lot of time off road would benefit from relocating the spare.
The RIGd alone is almost the price of an aftermarket fuel tank would be, plus the cost of the actual cans at $400 for 2.

So you're in for $2k in a spare tire relocation (which also is an impact to your offroad ability with the departure angle impact plus the shifting of weight from low under the frame to higher above the frame. Plus you still need to take time to drop the cans and refuel, add in the fact that the spare tire is now harder to gain access to the tire if you need it (lifting/removing from a non-ground level carrier versus just sliding across the ground and lifting the few inches to install).

The tanks for the Ranger from LRA were only $2k, which means at products alone you're just as deep into both products, and then you have to factor in install/storage/usability/etc. That's not as clear-cut a proposition as you made it sound initially. Just something to consider.
