Well, this could be the end of the Black Beast of Aaagh....side swiped a UPS truck that lost control in front of me on a snow covered road just before I lost control and hit him. All safe and limped home 50 miles with serious damage to the RH lower A arm...sad

Sorry to hear about your accident Michel. As bad as it is the main thing is you (or anyone else) weren't injured because vehicles can be replaced but people can not.

I know when I had my accident I was sick to my stomach for weeks! Hopefully it can be repaired and it's not as bad as it looks. If it is totaled it can be replaced and maybe a new 6G might fill it shoes. If you have a good agent this should go smoothly. Mine claims adjuster was terrible and there was little to no communication from her so make sure you keep on top of them. Glad you're not injured and good luck going forward.

I got an estimate for almost 11k to repair the damage...the truck got picked up and it's off to the body shop. I'm going to guess (wildly) that it will be more like 15k when all is said and done

That's to bad Michel but this could be a blessing in disguise for you. With a new '24 you'll have a new warranty (and can add an extended one to it) and you also shouldn't have to worry about the transmission. That's what helped me get through totaling MP1 and now almost 2 years later I'm happy with the results. Good luck on your new Ranger and post some pictures when you get it.

Yes, I can...and I did! I signed today and walked out with an 84 month, 120k mile bumper to bumper warranty. About the pictures, I've been having some issues posting pictures from my phone lately...don't know if it's me ot my phone (android). I gotta hit MBS with another dipstick order, a fumoto oil valve and a couple other doo-dads. Am recycling my tonneau cover, weathertech mats and seat covers

Yes but the tonneau barely fits, the head rest seat covers don' fit the new ones and the locking lugs for the weathertech mats are in the wrong location/nonexisting on the passenger side. The rear fits fine. My swing out cargo box needs a different bracket to work and don't see a spot to attach an mbs trans dipstick...

A few other things with the new trucks, at least on the STX, there is no fx4 package, didn't come with privacy glass or rear defrost, or rear sliding window; can't configure certain things like autolocking, one click unlock, etc...gotta be done with forscan. They got rid of the bugs on the 10R80 programming! Will keep you all posted on how it goes

Always new things to get used to. Bet you'll love it when you get used to it.
