Take about 3kg piece of pork sirloin (works with neck too, though sirloin is better as steak).

Monday

- turn bottom up and 15min in 300'C under grill rensponse
- Put in covered pot with veg broth & favored spices
- braise for 8 hrs at 140'C, turn at around 5-6 hrs
- with a _sharp_ knife, cut to steaks (and I mean japanese paper cut sharp)
- Ate with rice and some veggies
- Reminder went as pulled pork to fridge

Tuesday:
- Pulled pork hamburgers

Wednesday:
- IKEA meatballs with modified IKEA meatball sause (add ketchup, fresh tomatoes, garlic, pak choi and.. pulled pork)
- Potatoes, lingoberry jam, pickled cucumbers
- Evening sandwitch with pulled pork topping

My Finnish is a little rusty but for Thursday’s meal, did you just say “Eat it with a naked broad”?

It's nice that you all cook so well; me, if the microwave was to break, I'd starve to death...
Last fall my wife was in the hospital for 3 weeks and I lost 14 pounds. Airfryer french fries twice a day and a big bagel in the morning were what I lived on. I hate cooking for one. Team cooking is best.

IDK I've always enjoyed cooking but never had the time for many big meal when I was working 60-70 hours a week. I make the majority of our meals but Annie is still working a lot so it helps her out from not having to stop what she's doing which will only make her work longer into the night. It's hard to at this house we're renting because there's not a lot of counter space and most of our stuff is packed away.

I'll admit I'm more of a grill person and would rather cook everything outside. That probably comes from being single for years then living in AZ for the last 10 years. When it's 110+ the last thing you want to do is fire up the oven ? so you learn to make just about everything on the grill. I got pretty good at making pizzas on it and some days you barely needed any burners on it was so hot outside. lol

I had this built along with the pavers and fire pit 6 months before moving there full time . It was the best investment (besides the solar) I did there.

That’s a great setup - I had a smaller one built in Verrado and I missed having it after I no longer had that place. The new house has something similar to your AZ outdoor kitchen with a wine/beer fridge, grill, storage cubby, and concrete countertops. I don’t use it that much right now because it’s so dang cold out but hope to use it more this spring.

Any plans for an outdoor setup in AR?

They do come in really handy and make outdoor living much more fun. I don't think we'll have the room for one here because the septic system will take up most of the back yard. The rear porch will be nice though it's 10' X 18' and covered and we might screen it in or make it a 3 season room down the road.

Comfort food tonight, been one of those weeks, and it's freaking snowing, inches of rain last week and down in the 20s at night

Fried pork steak bites over white rice and homemade cream gravy and a veggie yum
