I've been using Mothers Back to Black and it lasts a few weeks at a time The side that gets sun for part of the day, fades first, of course.

Mine turned gray pretty quickly In the Alabama sun but had no idea it could have been a warranty claim.... I'm long past warranty mileage but I used a plastic razor blade and scraped the top layer off and then treated it with McKee's 37 trim restorer. Holds up pretty well

Has anyone tried to remove their door trim moldings? Mine have faded to the point where I need to refinish or replace them. I found a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating removal of the trim (on a non-U.S. Ranger) , which first required removal of an Allen or Torx set screw at the front of the door, before working the trim loose. My supercab seems to lack any such set screw, and although I tried some light to medium prying with a trim tool, I'm afraid to break or bend anything if I continue. Suggestions welcome.

If the piece you're talking about is the rubberized piece and not the plastic piece, check out some Gummi pfledge https://nextzettusa.com/gummi-pflege-rubber-care-stick/

I use this on all of my rubber seals and it keeps the cloudiness away.
Make sure you read the warnings:

Safely Information:
  • Do not use on hard rubber surfaces as the product will not fully absorb.
  • Avoid using on touch points or areas where a slippery finish could pose a safety risk.
While not guaranteed to completely eliminate noise, Gummi Pflege is known to help quiet down rattling noise from weather seal on Tesla and rattling noise from weather seal on BMW as well as other cars.

Magic eraser and mild cleaner or water will make them all better. Keep protectant on them to maintain.

I just leave my diva parked in garage the moldings look pristine, that reminds me to go out and check the battery maintainer.

I have a 2020 Lariat and mine are the same way. I haven't found anything yet either. Here are the part numbers if you decide to replace them.

Belt Molding Right Front - Ford
(AB3Z-2620934-C)

Belt Molding Left Front - Ford
(AB3Z-2620935-C)

Belt Molding Right Rear - Ford
(AB3Z-2625554-F)

Belt Molding Left Rear - Ford
(AB3Z-2625555-E)

Edit: The part numbers above are for the SCREW.

These are for the SCAB

Belt Molding Right Front - Ford
(AB3Z-2620934-A)

Belt Molding Left Front - Ford
(AB3Z-2620935-A)
Galpin Ford in California wants $850.00 to replace all four window belt moldings. I decided to buy 1 piece online and I am going to try to replace it myself

I finally fixed my ugly moldings by covering them with blackout tape. The stuff I bought (Trimbrite brand 1.25") was wider than necessary so I had to carefully trim with a hobby knife, easy job though and looks great. If I had to do over I would buy 3/4" wide to eliminate trimming.
