They should be fine ?.

You mainly need to look at the taper at the bottom where it seats against the rim and the thread in this case. The overall shape shouldn't make any difference.
That's what I figured, just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

It's an old story with Ford's I had to replace the lug nuts twice on my wife's escape. I'm a slow learner. I just replaced the factory lug nuts on her new 24 Bronco Sport with one piece nut and am doing my Ranger this week. You don't want to be caught on the side of the road with a flat tire and find your lug wrench does not fit your swollen lug nuts.

The following show was the first time I heard of this issue. Such nonsense for the sake of aesthetics.

I'll miss Pat; may he rest in peace. He was probably the best part of the Motor Week program, although all around it's a pretty good show. And the host John Davis still seems to be going strong. As a final note- make sure your nuts don't get stuck!

I changed mine out for McGuards soon after purchase. Changed them on my 2014 Mustang and a few were starting to swell and I live in the South.

I got my one piece lug nuts for my Ranger today after work, it took about 10 minutes, well worth the effort. None swollen yet so got them swapped out in time.
Awesome! Did you use a torque wrench? I mean, I have a history of not, but this time I actually did.

I did use a torque wrench, I have to torque the lug nuts on every lug nut at work so it's kind of a habit. I have seen the results of not tightening nuts and wheels coming off multiple times (never ones I worked on) and the results are not pretty. A torque wrench is pretty cheap insurance.

Do these McGard fit the factory lug wrench? What is the torque for the lug nuts 125 ft/lbs.?
Those should take a 3/4" wrench like factory, I am pretty sure the spec is 100ft/lb.
