Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing it? Sometimes the app cache gets messed up and that will fix it.

It's probably your modem. Have you tried resetting it by pulling the fuse? I believe it's fuse 9.
Mike I haven't but I'm at the point I'll try anything. Thx!

Hopefully it's #9 or something else is getting reset. lol

Yes, I've tried that a few times over the past couple weeks and did it just before this update. I'm going to try pulling the fuse next. Thx

The new app sucks. You can’t add receipts or services done by owner. Went for ok to unusable. Hard to find anything else. Major step backwards.

I just pulled fuse #9 and still nothing. Gave me a scare because the main screen stayed gray when I turned the truck on after rebooting it. I did a hard reset and everything came back to life. :whew:

I still can't keep the wifi connected either. Every time I turn the truck off the wifi gets lost and I have to constantly add it back to the system. Probably going to have to bring it in at some point and have it looked at which I'm dreading! Thanks anyways it was worth a shot.

I laughed out loud at the nickname. ?

Mine on the very odd time won't load the app I just force close it and open it back up and it works. But usually haven't had any issues but after reading this thread I will expect them like most tech in the world.

Which Sync3 build are you on? If you have build 22251, then you need to update to 23188. That could be why your wifi setup is getting lost.

Yes that's the one I'm stuck on and have read there's a glitch in it. I have to get another flash drive so I can download the newest update to it since it won't over wifi. Something I've never had any problems doing before. Thx!!

Don’t want to scare you, but….
This is sounding similar to what was happening before ford had to replace the modules for the multimedia stuff, head unit too.
The service manager I deal with is a good guy so he told me they were just going to rip it all out and replace it, haven’t had any issues since…
Did have a few trips prior to it all blacking out, but like all intermittent issues…when you take it to get checked out..
The little suckers hide themselves till they can safely ruin your day again ?
