New FordPass app just sux, literally worthless to actually use.

The app doesn't work for me at all. It mostly shows a picture of my Ranger - and even then notes it as 'Range' - not 'Ranger'. Several areas are greyed out. Only two menu options are available - 'Location' and 'Schedule Remote Starts' If I select 'Location' it attempts to find my Ranger, but ultimately gives up and notes 'Location Unavailable'.

I am not having any issues with the new layout and I have to say I do like not having to hold the buttons to start, lock or unlock. Sure, the layout is a bit different, but I have already gotten used to it.

The interface is an improvement, but the removal of the service history section is not great for me as I'm an under-warranty owner that has been logging his own DIY maintenance.

Called ford today and after 6 people and 2 hours I was told not only is the "Add Record" gone from the Ford app, it does not work on the website either, then why is the feature still there??...... Consistent inconstancy from Ford.

I found it. Have to first login and then: www.ford.com/support/service-history select Add Record

It worked for me this morning however you cannot upload scanned receipts any longer. It also showed up in my FordPass app almost immediately.

FYI it worked for me this morning. Maybe try it again and see if it works now.

I'm not impressed with the new app honestly. To me it looks slightly different but the old format was more intuitive. (maybe except having to hold down the button to do a remote start - that was kind of weird).

What is your oil change interval at? Ford Pass says 3000....I know it used to be 10k, at least on my old 19 Ranger.

Can the OCI be changed to alert you sooner? I wonder if previous owner changed this.

I can say It works pretty well for me. I also disliked the press and hold function to activate stuff. It also seems a tad more responsive, don't have to wait quite as long before an unlock, lock cycle. The slide to start seems to work just fine.
I agree though, certain features are not quite as intuitive to find.

It is probably a waste of time recording the rotations but I'll try anyways. From what I've read the 55k tire warranty is pretty much always denied. Has anyone actually gotten free tires from them wearing out too soon?

Not on OEM tires, only like a year warranty on those no mileage. Buy new ones from Discount or America’s tire and you will get the listed miles or a prorated amount for the tires. They have always been very good on handling warranty claims. Have not bought tires from anyone else in many years.

Actually I left it on the back of the Ranger and drove off. When a message popped up on the screen saying phone connection was lost I knew what I did. I turned around and found it in the tire path of a pretty busy road.
