I will try to remember to pop back in & let you know what I think.

It sounds like you are relocating? Where are you headed to?
That would be great if you could.

Heading to to Ozarks in NW AR.

im in the minority in that I love humidity. My skin doesn’t feel like it’s dried out.
While I don't love humidity (lived in MA for 51 years) living in this dry heat is brutal on your skin. Then add 110+ temps and I now know what fried chicken feels like. ?

Beautiful part of the country!!
It really is nice there. You get 4 season but none are extreme.

While we both really love where you are in SD, winters are just to cold for us. Then add all those hail storms while we were the last summer.

SD does have some good things to offer and an equal amount of things that make it not so desirable. I have to agree with your comments above. I despise the occasional brutal cold and all the salt that is used on the roads in the winter. The summer hailstorms and wind that comes with it makes me wonder why I moved back here after having been gone for 30 years. I'd love to find the perfect place to spend the rest of the "golden years"

I’ve lived in dry ass Colorado my whole life. When we got back from Hawaii and they opened the plane doors, I could feel the moisture being sucked out of my skin like it was my soul leaving my body. Humidity is amazing. Spent time in lots of places with it and it makes me happy.

Weirdo. I grew up on the east coast, Jersey and Pennsylvania and I'm sick of sweating just because I'm alive. You can have it.

Humidity is horrible when you can sweat just as easily in dry heat.

Changed both Differentials and transfer case fluids today. Transfer case was a bit dark, but only a little fine coating on the magnet. Both Differentials looked good also, rear was blacker the the front. 34.5K on the truck and the Differentials were changed at 5K, transfer case was factory. Plan on doing them again in 30K. Next up is the PPE transmission pan and filter along with 35K oil change and brake fluid change.

Got to take these things a little at a time. This 71 year old body doesn't move like it use to. Drag myself out from under the truck then have to wait for the blood pressure to catch up before I can stand. Still love taking care of my Ranger.
