Yes, I have the same with my truck, Pass Seat (Comfy) - Driver's seat (So/So)
If we were to perform a weight test (deflection) of the seat spring downwards and compare a
OMG these seats are comfortable to a seat like my Driver's Seat, I am 100% certain there would be a notable difference in the results.

Nothing wrong with the seat itself (to warrant) a Dealer Seat Replacement, without a huge hassle as there is nothing BROKEN.
I did take mine to the dealer just to see if there was anything they could do and left with what I knew would be the outcome (NOTHING)
So, backup a bit, I test drove 3 Rangers and then placed my order for my Lariat waited 7 months and took delivery of the truck, Test drove it for about 1 hour and signed the paperwork
Any new vehicle you get, takes time to get that sweet spot for seat adjustment, well I am at 20 months of ownership and still have not found that sweet OMG spot.
I did visit an upholstery shop and was told not much he could do other than what I am already doing - add padding.

I may plan on pulling the seat apart (deep enough) to see if there is any way possible to tighten the seat springs up to eliminate the sag - from the manuals this does not appear possible.
For me this is the issue (the sagging - deep bucket feel) and trying to add padding only partially helps.
I just have to devote the time and effort to fully resolve this issue, I will succeed eventually
If you might be able to tighten the springs, could it possible to swap them for a thicker gauge spring?

I doubt tightening would give the best results, maybe for a short time. Ideally, thicker springs would provide more support and still have a similar range of springiness.

LOL, you know far better than I do on all of this. I'm fresh off of buying a new living room chair and the sales guy pointed out the heavier gauge springs in what he sold me (of course, I'm a heavier gauge guy and make those springs groan).

Do keep us informed, my seat will surely be dismal in a few years ... bad enough I consciously scoot to the inside on the seat because I'm worried of how hard I squash it down when I exit the truck.

Changed engine oil & filter, the differential oil, and I rotated the tires. I did the trans fluid & filter last month so engine & drive line fluids are fresh. I'm only at 35k after 5yrs and I haven't touched the coolant yet but I'm not sure 100k is a realistic life expectancy for the stuff. Brake fluid was done by the dealer last Sept.

Looking forward to the peace of mind a FtizStick will bring.

Y'all need a wife with determination and a whole summer free. 2 yrs ago, she took everything off the shelves we have lining the walls, moved the shelves, and painted all the walls, ceiling, and trim. Then she put everything back. Took her about a week overall and needed a little help from me moving the workbench and fridge.
Of course I still can't find half the stuff I had since then.:headbang:
I got a wife with a 4 month old. There’s less than zero motivation to do anything. ?

Give it about 12 yrs. She'll be looking to do anything to be away from the kid. ;)

ok, that's funny. Everywhere I have posted this picture and said "look at my cool new awning" someone has replied with "your tire is low". ?

There are two sets of mounting holes. In the picture, the awning is mounted using the top set of holes. This is too tall for me to get out of my garage, so I dropped the air pressure. The RR is at 5 psi in this photo.

On the lower mounting holes, I still need about 1/8th inch clearance to fit in my garage, so I am working on a solution to fit in my garage.

Edit: spelling is hard.

I may or may not have had a “track suit” like this once.

Look more like a set of seats and console from an 80's conversion van transplanted into the truck.
No biggie....did stuff like that back then...scoured auto pick a part yards for nice seats to tranplant into older cars and trucks.

Installed some netting to keep my fly rods and other misc gear out of the way and out of danger while I’m moving around in the truck bed.

Cheap Walmart solution to a constant problem.

will test it on camping/fly fishing trip to Wisconsin Driftless area next week.

Got a local shop to put Bilsteins 4600 and new ball joint boots on the wife's Mazda B2300. It's only done just over 100k, a 2006, so I figure with the way new trucks are so expensive it's worth investing in to keep it in good condition. Basically if it blows up we're back to being a one truck family and that means I'll have to let her drive my Ranger :(

Got the warning, Oil Change Soon. It was down to 5% so I changed the oil and filter. I have changed the oil 6 times in 5 years with 20,300 miles. It seems like only yesterday I got the truck.

Took a nice camping trip up to central Vermont last weekend, we stayed on the Mad River. The road in was a bit muddy but I had no issues getting in or out once I was in 4x4. Also got home on Tuesday right in time for the ford corporate warranty inspector to evaluate my truck for ford care, the 10 speed has been shifting weird even after my dealer went through the tsb's so I figured I would just extend the warranty for when it inevitably goes.

I pulled 7.3 quarts out of my transmission at 20,250 miles, and put in 6.3 quarts of new ULV and a 10 oz bottle of LubeGuard Platinum Transmission Protectorant.

My transmission has been plagued with all manner of bad shifts both up and down. You name it and I have experienced it for the last 15K miles. It was so bad that we pretty much refused to drive it for fear of it stranding us. My wife wanted me to unload it.

I was at my wits end and was told about this stuff by ctechbob (Shawn). Took me 12 months to noodle over it and I finally decided what do I have to loose. Late yesterday I did the work.

Started the truck and shifted it through the range several times at 10 seconds in each gear. I then called my wife out and we took a 60 mile trip at interstate speeds, and back country roads where I put the truck through it paces. I watched it change gears with low throttle and most of the time I had a difficult time feeling the shift. In short, NOT ONE ISSUE! Silky smooth shifts up and down. I could not even feel the shifts once I past 4th gear! No more sudden jerks when starting or stopping, no lagging or hard shifts. They are all GONE!

If you are interested, I posted the details, observations, and results in this thread starting at Page 6 Entry #85

2 days and 125 miles later my truck transmission shifts silky smooth! It has been smooth from the moment I drove it out of the garage. I would have not believed it possible.

There ought to be sticky at the top of the Ranger5G forum about this stuff. It can save all of us a fortune in transmission repair costs.

If your transmission is behaving badly, you owe it to yourself to try this stuff. It worked for ctechbob, it has worked for me, and it has worked for at least one fellow with a 2018 F-150 whose transmission was behaving the same way and the dealer told him he needed to replace it. I read his review. He hates additives and only put 2 oz in his transmission!

It won't cure the CDF issue, but it does wonders for the solenoids and throttle body.

BOTTONLINE
$15 and and hour of my time eliminated 15K miles of serious transmission problems. This is now the truck that I thought I purchased back in 2020! No more "Bucking Bronco!"

I am delighted and relieved. And I am now a believer in LubeGuard Platinum!
