Drove up to Roan Mountain State Park. I’ve been wanting to fly fish Doe River. It was an amazing day. Great weather and fishing. Going back soon to camp/fish.

Just drove it to work and it was pretty nice! Most of the office was out of town or "working from home" so I drove on the grass a little bit

drove the 5g to work. normally the 4g is the work mule and beat around truck. but i wanted to try out the 5g's new socks and shoes. so far i really like them. have gotten to go off road yet. but for pavement the taller coopers are a softer ride and the stance feels really stable.

Took True North for a quick trip to visit my FIL and drop off a house warming gift (new digs for him). The Ranger was washed just the other day and had a fresh coat of 404. It was looking great in all its Shadow Black glory.

I was stopped at a light when I was back in the city and a military band was piping some troops into the Armoury near a men’s shelter - a short procession - I like the sound of a pipe band so I lowered both windows to take it all in. A few pedestrians were gathered as it passed, LEOs were escorting the group and holding back traffic. After they passed, this salty, old street guy with more fingers than teeth looks over at me, makes eye contact, and says, “That ain’t your grandfather’s Ranger!”

Made my day.

What is 404? Is it a coating of 303 with an extra coating of 101?!?

Oh no, does this mean I gotta buy more detailing stuff? I already have 5 bottles of 303 Graphene (maybe I should combine them into one 15015?).

I did just get a gallon of Adam's Rust Remover to try out.

Take a bottle of 303.....take a second bottle of 303 and take 1/3 of it (101) and add it to the first bottle of 303.........WALLA.....404 !!!!!

Of course, your now left with 2/3 bottle of 202.....maybe relegate its use to your lawn tractor tires......

Rear world, I saw a guy use 303 on his mower deck - the inside of it - to help keep the grass clippings from sticking.... It didn't not work... ? It was an awefule lot of effort to save a few minutes with a garden hose a couple times a season... ?

LOL, I had a low-end engine noise that turned out to be a piston skirt issue, lucky me I was at 59300 miles, time for some upgrades
