What did you let go to get your Ranger?

LOL, I may have already added mine but can't remember or find it (this getting old thing does not equal getting wiser for me). =p

My daily driver was a 2005 Scion xA that started to have more and more small issues. I donated it to a veteran's group and they later let me know it brought them $2,500! =)

And I semi let go of my 1972 FJ40 that I've driven since 1975. I gave it to my daughter and it'll be a joint project to restore it for her to use in the summer.

the xA loaded for a ... wait for it ... DUMP RUN!

the Tojo - such an awesome daily driver from 1975 to 2000 - I rebuilt the engine (actually a 1969 engine) hanging it from a tree in 1986 and drove it from Texas to Ontario twice, plus loads of 4-wheelin' fun including breaking both front leaf springs! 310K miles!

When I got divorced in 2015 I traded in my silverado for a GMC terrain. first time I never had a truck.

Son fell asleep at the wheel on his way home from college and totaled his accord.

So with my son needing a car I gave him my terrain and I bought the tremor. I really wanted to wait another year to pick a new midsize truck to see what the new ranger and tacoma were like. Plus I wanted to save for a bigger down payment. My $3000 per month child support had only ended 6 months prior to the accident. Oh well. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches.

Sold the 2016 F150 in 08/21. Ordered the Tremor 09/21. Picked up the 2003 Sable for $2500 in 08/21 to be the in between vehicle until the Tremor was built and picked up 04/21. Sold the Sable for $2500 so it was a freebie ride.
