Explored about 150 miles of back roads and old county dirt roads today. It was nice to drive without someone tailgating or swerving I'm to my lane or having to jam on brakes.

Looks like the front half of a late 70's crew cab pickup and back half of a van. Like an early version of the Excursion. I would guess an import or more likely a custom.

Those are from South America. They were very popular in Brazil, and there were some weirder versions that had trunk areas like a passenger car.

I saw it for sale on craigslist or fb marketplace and wanted to check it out but i got the scam vibe and didnt go. The add called it a courier which is a name ford used at one time. but i dont know anything about it other than it looks like an f series truck that looks like an early excursion. I bet it is an import from south or across the pond.

There are a few that have been brought in from South America, so they are here. I've seen a few Brazilian Chevrolet imports down here in South Florida. It could be legit! But...
...I don't trust anybody these days.

I went for a drive.
Forgot it's president's day so many places were closed.
But had an enjoyable drive out into the mountains and back.
I don't think you can tell, but ilon the right side of the road in the last 2 pictures there was what looked like a room built into the side of the mountain, I thought maybe it was a root cellar or a spring house, but the inside was empty of any shelving remnants or a place where a spring would have been... ?‍
It was neat anyway. I forgot my phone in the truck when we went to check it out so no closeup pictures of it...
Edit: nope you can't see it, it is in the little ravine area.
Edit 2: it's not a ravine, I can't think of what it's called off the top of my head... I'll just Google it. ? BRB

Drove up into Cherokee National Forest to do a little fly fishing. Temps in the upper 50s up top and mid to upper 60s down below….wind gusting to 30+ mph ???
Fishing was a miss, but hanging out on the mountains is good for the soul!
