Went to lunch with the wife, tried goosing it a bit to see if there was anything noticeably different with the diverter valve parts installed

Hard to tell around town without being able to really get on it, will attempt more 'research' in the coming days. Perhaps at highway speed by easing off and then laying back into the throttle to look for the presence of lag or improvements in boost pressure etc

We need testing results....
Make sure you use the built in "Butt-O-Meter" when running your tests !!! It is the only true gauge of added performance...

Drove up Little River to Little River Fly Shop for some flies and leaders. Great weather next couple days so going to try for some winter trout. Picked up a Cappuccino at one of the Townsend coffee shops on the way home.

Loving this short stretch of spring like weather.

Ran out to drop off a shipment for work.
Saw 8 Rangers during the trip, 5 old and 3 new. Must be Ranger day as I never see that many. This was less than a 5 mi. round trip and that was just on the way there.
On the way back I pulled an old Navy vet and his wife out of the street, thier Sport Trac had died pulling into a lot. Didn't even feel him back there towing him up the drive.
Had spark since it started to fire and he said he had a 1/2 tank of fuel. Nothing obvious when we looked under the hood. He was going to disconnect the battery to reset the computer and see if he could get it going. Said he didn't need a ride, had AAA and plenty of warm places nearby for them to wait for a tow so I didn't stick around to see if he got it going.

Went to forest in the late morning. Way too much snow to drive into it, but parked on the access way. Then I walked into the forest and cut down 3-5" thick trees for firewood for 3 hours. Need to make 20m3 (6 cords) or so for the next year. Might as well do the thinning on the same go.

Then drove for a coffee and talked with a guy who needed some trees cut around his house. Drove to home, took some rest & refreshments, picked up the gear (winch, etc.) and drove to the guys house. Took down a bunch of 100 feet trees.

Then back to home, dinner & sauna. Back to forest tomorrow.

Drove up into the park to a creek I haven’t been to. Got in a couple of hours of hiking and fly fishing. Gorgeous spring like day in the Smokies.

Not great. High gradient stream at high flow. Got one small rainbow on a small stonefly pattern. Should be nice once flow recedes a hair from recent rains.
