If they are available Go with the bilstein's. I promise you will be a happy camper with them.Truck has a little movement when towing
If on a budget you can do the tears for now, but I highly suggest doing front and rear at the same time so they work together.Do I need both front and back or can i just go with the rears only
Apparently you have not towed a trailer with the same vehicle and different shocks. Two different shocks for the same vehicle will feel different enough that you can feel. With the way the OEM shocks are with the Ranger I can promise it makes a huge difference simply by having shocks that do way better at controlling the loadDoing the rears will have the most noticeable effect. The shocks probably aren't going to affect your towing or your ride height as long as you don't make any other "height" adjustments to the suspension.
Just trying to save the OP $$$. Best bang for your buck is in the rear IMO. I would start their and move to the fronts if its still an issue.Apparently you have not towed a trailer with the same vehicle and different shocks. Understanding the way you're thinking I can promise you the vehicle still going to do best when you have the fronts and rear shocks matched regardless of brandJust trying to save the OP $$$. Best bang for your buck is in the rear IMO. I would start their and move to the fronts if its still an issue.
