Auxitos are great. It takes 3 seconds to adjust them to the right level. They state they have a 2 year warranty if bought from their website (not amazon) so keep the boxes and receipts.

Dimming the dash and other lights in the cab is one of the cheapest and effective upgrades to your headlights.

These say fog lights? You replaced just your fogs?
I replaced both. Those I put in the lows, I but dual bulb in the fogs that you can switch from white to yellow

I wouldn't worry about it , the quicker everyone gets them , the quicker we all evolve and grow second eyelids , in the meantime, I just wear my auto darkening welding helmet ... I quit flashing people a while back , they just hit their highs and really show me what money can buy ...

Aircraft instrumentation in small aircraft when I was flying many years ago was red. Cessna used a red flood light from above and behind you to light up the gauges. This was way back in the 1970's.

You really need to keep your night vision when flying.

That said, I defended the XLT Halogens as being effective based upon heghway safety studies. I was wrong! I noticed while driving at night I slowed way down to make 90 degree turns as the area was completely dark. I'm getting up in age and thought it was simply poor night vision. It's not! I noticed that I was only having this not seeing into the area I wished to turn to only while in the Ranger. I had no issues in my 93 Miata, my 2023 CX-5, my 2003 Maxima, or my 2005 Ranger. The 2020 Ranger XLT headlights are very poor in this regard and do not illuminate those areas well at all.

I have no problem with illumination down the road, only on the periphery. Even with Auxito LED upgraded bulbs the problem persists. I found turning on the fog lamps help, but not completely.

I have no personal knowledge about the Ranger LED headlamps. But people claim that they are superior. I do know that I am not going to spend upwards of $2K to find out. I may test drive a Ranger Lariat at night just for this purpose.

Anyone with drop in leds is a selfish prick. They overdrive reflectors, and create significant scatter above cutoff. You can’t aim that away.

I go out of my way to flash these assholes because of all the “well I never get flashed” posts.

if you want leds pony up for replacement headlights.

Both my wife's Honda and my Ranger have factory LEDs - the first cars we've owned with them and I gotta say at our 'advanced ages' the improvement to night driving has been noticable. Also part of the reason I got the ESP that includes them. I've seen some luxury cars with earlier LED lighting that is failing. Looks unreasonably expensive to replace.

If I were upgrading to LED headlights (I've swapped out the few non-LED bulbs on my truck) I'd get comfortable taking apart the front end and shopping for a complete aftermarket setup... although some look tacky as hell, light show and all.

The Amazon LED puddle lights in the mirrors are already crapping out and now that Ford has switched to LED since I bought my truck I'll actually go OEM to replace them again.

I initially just used Auxito LED bulbs in my OEM XLT light assembly's and they worked very well, never was flashed but some on the forum said they may have caused a lot of glare for oncoming traffic so I then tried replacing the whole headlight assembly's with a dedicated LED projector light made by Vland ($400./pair) and they worked as well as the bulbs, but throw out less glare. Here is a night shot on low beams and the high beams.
The mention of Vland and attractive price caught my eye in this post. I'd love to have new lights for $400 ... but then I checked out the reviews for Vland lights for the F-150 on Amazon (Ranger lights have no reviews). Thirty percent of reviews are one star. Oof. https://www.amazon.com/VLAND-Headlight-Assembly-Headlamp-Signal/product-reviews/B0852YYTNV

Interesting. My experience with them has been positive. I’ve had them on coming up on 6 months now and they are still working great. You can see by the pictures that the light output is phenomenal. The cut off is clear and sharp. I can’t tell you yet about longevity, but for $400, I felt it was worth a try. I’m happy with them so far.

I wonder how many people with positive experiences go on to post that in a review. I never did so. But I imagine the people with bad experiences will post reviews more often. Take into account that most of these are installed by the buyer with varying skill levels and not sent to a shop.

That's from Auxitos web site for my Ranger , where does it list LED's for Non-Off road ? These all say "Off Road Use ", I wonder why they wouldn't be ok to use on the highway ??

Years ago (before drop in LEDs could make one a selfish prick) I was riding with a friend in his lifted F-150 when a car flashed him. Before he could flash back the car behind the flasher lit up his blue lights and pulled him over. LOL

They cannot be legally used for on road use - Not DOT Approved, so this statement is required to be included in the description.
Now do you really think an owner would install- just for off road?
It boils down to reflector assy is not approved for LED, now what owners actually do is another thing.
