I have a 2019, over the weekend helped someone out with a dead battery. It got me thinking if I should be looking at replacing mine as it is the original. I'd rather be proactive than the truck not starting in some random parking lot.

Has anyone had their battery die from normal use yet on any 2019's?

You are living on borrowed time, if my experience is anything to go by. Quick story time:
When I found my truck at a local dealer it was listed as in their inventory. I went down to test drive it, and they could not find it on the lot. I pointed out that the one parked in their show room looked to be exactly the same spec, if not the exact truck... turns out it was the VIN I was there to see. This was in March of 2020, and the truck had been sitting on their showroom floor for a few months, with customers opening the doors, turning on the radio, crawling through the interior, etc. Did they ever put it on a battery tender? Nope. It was completely dead. They quickly jump started it with a jump pack, and sent me on my way for a test drive. It's a good thing I didn't shut it off during the test drive at all, as when I returned to the dealer about 20 mins later and shut it off, it would not re-start. The battery was completely toast.

So the truck got a brand new battery installed at the dealer before I even closed the deal and took delivery. That battery lasted only about 2 years, and was replaced under warranty sometime in the spring of 2022, iirc.

So far so good on the second replacement, but I'm frankly surprised yours has not needed to be replaced yet.

My 2019 was built late in 2019. Still on original battery and it load tested good today at the dealer.
My 2019 also a late build (August 2019) lasted 34 months. You obviously have longer drives. The battery management system is not setup for people who make mostly short trips, doesn't keep the battery fully charged. That will kill a battery quickly.

Read through the thread @airline tech posted above. Lots of good info. Just installed a desulfator on mine today.

2019 LARIAT here with low mileage (13K). only issue so fr is that intelligent access sometimes works only on the drivers door. Been reading on this forum that that's one of the 1st symptoms of the battery going south.

My 2019 required a new battery in 2021. Totally shocked me (ha... no pun intended).

I got the truck with 7000 miles on it. After having it for about a year, the battery was depleted.
I didn't know the history of the battery, if it was original or swapped out at sometime.

My clue was the truck started acting weird. Come to find out, the truck couldn't pull enough voltage to feed all the computer squirrels under the hood and beyond.

Fortunately the dealer replaced it, since it was still under warranty.

As someone said, you are 'living on borrowed time' with the battery you have.

Good job out of you thinking ahead! The trucks electronics will probably breath-a-sigh-of-relief too.

My April 2019 Lariat was recently replaced when the the dealer mentioned it was weak when they did the oil change. Still fully functional and no messages but was preventively replaced.

I have APR 19’ build date original battery 62k miles southern Calif. climate 40’s winter 120’s summer. I do plan on changing battery soon my intelligent access only works on the driver door sometimes. And I have noticed some other issues. I did change battery charge rate on Forscan also. Not sure if that made it last longer or helped at all.
