Hi Folks,
Today the Ranger was put into Flat Tow mode behind the RV as we are home from our summering in Flagstaff. Ranger behaved as I would expect and arrived safely at the house. Reengaging 4x2 mode, it was parked in the garage as we then backed the RV into its garage... The Ranger then took us to the UPS store to our mailbox to retrieve the mail that had accumulated of late.
All in all....the Ranger has not had one issue after being flat towed as I follow the directions in the owner's manual for Neutral Tow mode...

Hauled about 12 scops of rock over a 2-3 week period 1 scoop at a time Had to get this done before RTT and rack could go back on.
Happy with the way it came out. Wife and did all the work up front ourselves but the concrete work.

Yesterday we loaded my folding ebike, my daughter's folding trike, and her boyfriend's beast of a self-built ebike into the bed and headed to a car show that also has a rail trail nearby that we rode the majority of. It was great to finally get some distance on my ebike and some (recreational) hauling done with the truck. They said it was good practice for when I help them move. LOL

I had a Lexus RX350 with $9,000 worth of hail damage. It looked a lot like that. My 4g Ranger, which was parked right beside it had one dimple on the passenger side window sill trim.
I hope they can fix it for you without having to replace the roof panel. Best of luck with this.
