Mine is the loudest ac ever on sunny days. Otherwise you cook. Blows ice cold but very low flow. I can't take the noise wearing hearing aids (they have great background noise control but this isn't background noise) so we drive my wife's Forester on hot days. That thing has very quiet and fast ac along with 32 mpg lately.
I gotta agree - my forester even with needing to replace the AC compressor 4 times in 12 years - it had great AC.

32MPG - I wish I got that on my foz, even the gf's outback doesn't get that. lol

what year is her foz? I am considering buying an early 2000's foz for my commuter car.

I use the app to schedule start at 5pm workdays. Hasn't failed to start yet and we have I credibly crappy cell service inside our building. One to two bars max at any given time.
Does your building have wifi? I use ours all the time to unlock the truck on the way out.

It's a 2022 Touring. Was getting 28 when new but just jumped to 31 to 32 around town. Our favorite car ever. Hope Subaru makes a truck on the Ascent platform.

I'd love for them to come out with a subaru response to the santa cruz. A new Subaru Baja, based off the Ascent platform available as a turbo or hybrid - the only 2 engine options. LOL

a friend of mine went from a 22 outback touring to a honda ridgline. I cannot say I was impressed with the ridgeline over the outback. Of course when she turned in the outback, they essentially gave her the new car value (in fact, I think she got 2500 more than she paid for it). so she paid cash for the 23 ridgeline. . .

Wow, this thread went sideways very quickly. I read it for ideas since I would like a good one. Nope. I had the sunglasses forgotten in there on a previous vehicle.

Yet, it was so appropriate because I store my eyeglasses lens wipes there. Mostly for the wife, but after a day at the beach even my transitions need a cleaning.

I keep a spray bottle in the driverside rear door of glass cleaner along with a nice fluffy micro fiber towel. I think that provides a better cleaning . . . LOL

when did it go sideways, talking about tacos or before that?

How do you like the lcp? I've been looking at them as a deep concealment bug
I have one of the first series from years ago, and love it. It goes everywhere with me, either in a small inside waist holster, or a pocket when out walking, even in light weight shorts.
Very concealable, no protrusions, nothing to catch on clothing.
Loaded with Fed. 90 grain HP, and have never had a jam, misfire, or fail to extract. For a "point n shoot", quickly, can't beat it.
I carry a Sig P365 when I go out, and still slip the LCP in a pocket. There are places that even the 365 would be a bit bulky, but the LCP is always with me.
Have seen, around here, a standard LCP for as low as $250.....for that you can't beat it.
As a retired cop, I would not/will not carry anything that is not first rate in quality or reliability.

Maybe should have put this in the "Chat Section".....
