Thank you for your help……. I am trying to 100% be sure of this call…….. this truck which I think looks great has a lot of pictures on this site. You can find it under “”The Silver Stallion””. This gentleman is saying the wheels that he has are 17x9 with a +1 offset…….. I’m trying to determine if he is also running a spacer or is that all wheel because it looks like a lot of tire is sticking out for all wheel and no spacer……. What say you? Thanks again.

There's definitely a spacer on there as well.

Looks more like a -20ish, so I'd guess 1 inch spacer.

Thank you!!!!!! as you can see that wheel comes in +1 or ~12 in that picture and it does not look right to me but I am no expert but my guess, a wild guess, is there is a spacer in there…….

That’s a lot of poke.

Here’s what +15mm looks like with my fender flares removed. The fronts are always a bit deceiving but on the rears, the tread is just about flush with the wheel well. +1mm offset would be about 1/2” more tread but that truck looks like it has more than that.

Like the Milkman suggests, I’m guessing a 1” spacer.

Just so we're clear: you do realize doing this will make your steering so vague the vehicle will no longer drive in a straight line, reduce stability while braking hard, ruin your paint, and throw rocks at everyone else's windshields, right?

We’ve had a lot of jeeps, so I know all about rocks in the windshields……. The rest that you have mentioned…… I’m listening.

Your offset now has me all screwed up again….lol. My understanding was on that wheel that It has a 4.5 or 5 inch backspace. ( Bottom Line is….. I am trying to copy “”The Silver Stallion’s stance. That same amount that is poking out or a hair less……)

13 mm is close to a half inch.

I'd guess the wheels he mounted are either +1 with a 1 inch spacer or -12 with a ½".

Our OEM wheel and tire setup is just about flush.

+55mm offset wheel 255/65R17 tires

Using the offset calculator on tire size.com, you enter the values and it compares the two. The pic below shows the sidewall sticking out 3.13” further than stock.

You can play around with the calculator but also check the Showcase section for other trucks with a lot of poke and read about their setup.

Yeah, and he has those big fat 305s, so it’s tough to really nail it all down. ?‍♂

Between looking at other people's setups, researching what's available, and MEASURING, I'm sure you'll come up with an awesome setup.

Personally. I'm a fan of the factory wheels. But I get it that they may not work with your Camburg arms.

If you really want to figure out exactly what you want I'd experiment with spacers. Cheaper than wheels, and you can figure out the measurements you want and apply those to your wheel setup.

Did the Camburgs list a tire width with that backspacing? You might be able to run a skinnier tire and more backspacing than they recommend.

My 255/80s are more than an inch thinner than the 285s a lot of guys run, yet still true 33"s.
