Calling all Ford Ranger owners with 265/70r17 (or other 32” size variation) tires on 0 to +15mm wheels!

I know this is very specific but I want to see how the wheels and tires look from the side profile.

I’m ready to pull the trigger on wheels and tires and I’m contemplating fender flares from RTR (when they get back in stock). The fender flares only stick out 1.5” but in the event I don’t get them, I want a tire that doesn’t stick out too much.

I hope this gives you a sense of the amount of poke you might expect. My Bushwacker flares stick out quite far. It would be a bro’ truck without them.

There is a handy offset tool here. You input your existing tire size and offset (+55 for stock Ranger) and your proposed setup specs. It will tell you how much further out your tires will be based on new tire size and offset.

Any rubbing or trimming? 2.5" level lift?

RC 2-1/2” Level - no rubbing - bars in tact but very close to rears (1/4”). Installing ReadyLIFT beams as a precaution.

That's a really cool offset tool! And your truck looks great too!

Love both of those trucks! Thanks for sharing.

For a newbie like myself, it’s crazy how much tire width plays into offset. Offset is relative according to tire width. The wheels I want come either in 0 offset or +18 offset and I worry 0 will sit too far out and +18 won’t come out enough to compliment the smaller fender flares with a 265/70r17 tire.

I'm in the same boat. All of the wheels I want are "Tacoma spec" with -10 or 0 offset which I think is a little more aggressive than I want, but I found what I want in 17x8.5 +15. Also planning on 265/70s. Hoping some more folks chime in with pics before I pull the trigger!
