Calling on members with 18"x9" aftermarket wheels. I need help choosing between the Fuel Vapor 18"x9" X +1 offset and the 18"x9" X +19 or +20 offset.

I want to replicate my current stance/look. I'm running the stock 18"X8" x +55 black package wheels on stock rubber with 1-1/2" Faction Fab wheel spacers.

I have the Tremor package fender lip moldings and the tires are almost flush with those. So on stock rangers the tires would poke out maybe 1" or less.

I see pictures of rangers with 18"x9" +20 wheels that stick out 1" but then I see these Fuel wheels with +20 offset listed for sale as "not aggressive, tire sits inside fenders" so I'm confused.

would you go +1 or +19/20 ?

Depends if they’re talking about tread or sidewall.

Here’s what +15mm looks like. +20mm will likely put the tread flush to the wheel well. Then, that depends on the tire manufacturer, tire rating, tread width, blah, blah, blah.

Hopefully, some members with +20mm offset see your post and reply. ?

I found this calculator in another tread https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator#

based on the calculator - a 9" wide +20 offset wheel should move the tire an additional 10mm further out than my current 1-1/2" spacer with 8" x +55 wheels - which would be fine

but your 9" x +15 offset looks like my current setup with the spacers. I wouldn't want to push them in from where yours sit

This is probably the most accurate representation I can give. These are fuel Rush 18x9” with a +20 offset. Tires are a 275/65r18
I’m planning to add the tremor fender flares at some point but my splash guards are the rockblokz XL and do a good job or protecting the paint. I ended up removing the front crash bars and the front air shields to stop the rubbing at full lock.

I’ve measured from the sidewall to the side of the factory fender molding and they stick out approx 1/2” so the tremor fender flares would put them perfectly flush. You with stock tires wouldn’t poke quite as bad as with my tires though.

This is exactly what look I'm shooting for. Like you said it would be flush with my "flares" thanks for posting these pics. I'm a little surprised you had rubbing with 275/65r18. I was thinking of going with 265/70/18 and I hoped there wouldn't be any rubbing. do you have a leveling kit on yours?

Yeah I have a 2 1/2” leveling kit installed. I was running 1” spacers with my stock rims and had no issues but when I switched to these fuel rims it was enough to cause rubbing. I could see where they were rubbing on the front crash bars so I removed them because the rubbing was quite pronounced when I backed up at full lock. Turns out the main issue was the tire catching that plastic air shield. It would catch it and pull it up. In hindsight if had just removed those I could have probably retained the crash bars. I’ll be ordering some aftermarket high clearance crash bars and installing those.

I was close to rubbing and installed the ReadyLIFT beams - they look pretty stout - hoping I never need them. ?

Darn, sounds like anything bigger than a 265/65/18 with these new wheels will need some clearance. I really wanted to fill the wheel wells a bit more

I wish they made these in a 18"x8" +20

Agreed, it’s out a bit far to allow me to keep the mud and rocks at bay. I have these to take care of that….

Yeah, at 32.2” (275/70R17) and my 2-1/2” level, I was very, very close to rubbing the crash bars - with +20mm, you would likely be safe but the wheel well gap you’re not fond of is still there - you could consider 275/65R18 (32.1”).

To fill them up with 33’s or bigger, is going to require a lot more mods - likely need to go to 3” lift and crash bar replacement to stuff them in there. Here’s the gap on 32s…

OFC Ranger squeezed 33s into his - looks pretty sharp but he does have a 3” lift.
Unfortunately, there’s not magic chart or spreadsheet for this exercise. ?
