I think you will really like the SwingCase. They make them for either side, and you can get them from Ford with the Ford logo for $10 more if that is to your liking.Thanks. I need some storage for basics like a small tool kit, small shovel, and jumper cables, etc. May have to look into this a Stage3 box.
I chose the passenger's side since I have a WolfHaus 12V connection on the driver's side to which I wanted to maintain easy access. You could also do both if you need more storage.
I am keeping a small set of tools, mechanic's gloves, a headlamp and ratchet straps in mine for now, but I am certain to add more to it until it is full.
My only complaint is that I wish that the semicircles on the lid were full circles to better hold cold snacks.
