FordPass has updated to a new version. For Android users you need to be on anything newer than Nougat.

I get it, but I'm sure there are plenty of older users who don't upgrade there tech often. If it works, why replace it.

Must be an Android only update. There is nothing on my Apple iPhone Ford Pass concerning an update.

But the app insists you update, or you can't use it. I only know about Android.. the iGuys are on their own.

standard operating procedure for a great many apps, both ios and android. certain updates break the functionality of old versions. has been that way since forever.

My version of the app is also 4.24.3 with copyright date 2016-2022. I have NEVER seen a prompt on the app to update, it just seems to happen. Is the same experience you have Dave @Dgc333?

"Nougat" is Android 7. Pretty sure everyone is well past that version.

I like the last version better, BUT it seems to do less weird crap. Easy fix to poke at the map to show it full screen vs it splitting the screen up between the map, my audiobook, and distance to ???
