Wifey can be very perceptive on things I would'nt notice. She is probably comparing my super smooth quiet Ranger and her super smooth quiet Milan so, I ain;t telling her she is full of crap!I trust drove both the hardtop and soft top full size Bronco. I never noticed any engine noise but IMO the soft top was very loud but from wind noise and the hardtop was a little better. The problem is now everything is still way over priced unless you can find a dealer like Granger or Stevens in WV who sell at invoice on new orders. I've seen prices dropping on the full size Broncos at some dealers online (down to msrp) where others still have crazy prices but there are deals out there you just have to really search for them right now.
I'm sure it is.I said 1.5L. Is that not right?
I went through this with my wife a few years ago when she wanted (needed as she said) a new SUV. Quiet and smooth we at the top of her list. She started looking at the Rav4 and CRV. Then up to the similar sized Lexus and Acura SUV's. Then on to the Audi Q5 and the Mercedes GLC 300. In the end it was the Audi vs the Mercedes and she ended up buying the Mercedes GLC 300. At first I was concerned about buying a European car, but after two years of ownership, I have to say my wife made a good choice. It is smooth, quiet, and very comfortable. It is a really good road trip car. It is fun to drive. It handles well, stops well and it is quick. It is definitely faster than my Ranger.Wifey can be very perceptive on things I would'nt notice. I believe there is this supply and demand thing as well as the thing called inflation that is causing the pricing to be so wild. As one of the people who was able to buy under sticker price (shout out D plan and price protection) I am not complaining.I've scouted a few 2 door broncos.
You think used pricing is bad? New is worse.
How on earth a vehicle that literally takes less material to make cost a good 10 grand more than when my Ranger was new.

Should have just seen the future and ordered three years ago and maybe you would have a bronco in your driveway. I "only" had to wait 506 days from when my order was placed.
Yeah, I can't believe there are two versions. Never would have thought. But yeah, as long as she is interested in something decent, I'll be on board, it's her money.Man oh man look at all these Ranger guys talking Broncos and Bronco Sports. Almost brings a tear to my eye.
Thank god you posted to the Ranger forum with the lack of understanding between the sport and the "actual bronco". The Bronco forum gets a little unhinged when folks ask questions like these.
As a person who currently drives the soft top bronco daily it is definitely louder than the ranger and the sound system is somehow worse. I personally would avoid a sport but would gladly be on board if my wife showed interest in one.
Ford really messed up calling it a Bronco Sport. The bronco was gone for 25 years and so many were waiting for it to come back. Then they launch the Sport first and those who didn't know they were two different vehicles thought this was it.Yeah, I can't believe there are two versions. Never would have thought. They should've called it an Escape Sport or anything but a Bronco Sport. My wife is this [ ] close to pulling the trigger on the aforementioned Edge. Doesn't seem to be terribly overpriced, it's a loaded SEL, and I can see that look in her eye.James those Edge's are a very nice SUV. If I was going that route I would get one in a heart beat!
