Wow. So order holders have price protection, but reservation holders do not, from what i understand.

Well...that shoots down my holiday presents this year !!! I was gonna buy a dozen or so of the Extended Range Lightnings for my kids, neighbors, and the homeless guys on the corner.

Well, there has been a lot of talk about bringing back the EV credit (or extending it past the first 250,000 vehicles per manufacturer.) and expanding it for the Union plants/manufacturers here in the US. But so far no action.

BUT..... If Ford separates the business into a new EV entity, would they get to start the ticker over at 0 again?

In that case I will be out . Even the base model went up @ $6500.00
It's not my fault they would not let me order even though I had a email confirmation back from Ford within 2 minutes of the reservations opening ,SMH .
