Haha so true ? did you get a build date yet? We’re still waiting.
Not yet which isn't surprising since they won't start building them until middle of December. My dealer told me that once you get a build date that it will likely be pushed out one or more times. The last Escape PHEV they ordered took 6 months before it arrived.

We need to prepare ourselves for the same long delivery times for the USA 2024 Rangers once they start building them. But the wait will be worth it. Can't wait to hear and learn more about the Ranger PHEV.

I'm right there with you my friend and will be putting in my PHEV order as soon as they're available. It might be good to get them in asap because as you said there will most likely be delays so it could be a lengthy wait. That's fine because it'll give them time to work out any bugs and I'd rather have a second year run on a brand new redesign.

Now I just need to make sure there's a non removable damper from the factory so I can concentrate my time on more important things than trying to change you! ?

The hardest thing for me will be parting with my current Ranger when I replace him with a PHEV. I never speak of it around him.

Dave, I think you should start working on those more important things. I'll never cave like Terry (@FoD)

Luckily mine could care less what I spend it on and never really says anything. Well except when another gun follows me home she'll look at me and say "another one"?

And you respond, "I'm just doing part to keep guns out of the hands of criminals"

Its a civic duty.

Those dang boats, my canoe was very tippy. It went over and I lost my entire collection too.

So strange the ocean was flat until I got out over the shelf, than it got really rough for a minute tipped me over I lost everything. Luckily the waves died down and I could paddle back watching the gorgeous sunset...

We really need to go diving one day. I bet we find some nice stuff down there from all these "boating accidents" everyone claims to be having. ? ?

All these boating accidents offer a new theory to all the rising sea level worries. ;)

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
All of this PHEV and EV discussion is very interesting. Definitely food for thought. I might have to make some changes.

(Thinking. ::frown: No no no! I don't want a Duracell vehicle! Say it ain't so. What can I do?! :idea:Frantically updating already built excel spreadsheet for the future maintenance of the yet to be received velocity blue Ranger Tremor. ? Previous minimum target life: 200K miles. Updated now to 250K miles. Previous stretch goal: 275K miles. Updated now to $325K+ miles.
Ummmm.... let's see. Add the 3, spaghetti for dinner tonight, subtract the 4, sip coffee, frown at boomer jokes if young whippersnappers could see me now, scratch that itch, yea, that one, $225 month during the late 2030's and throughout 2040's for ammo to ensure continued gasoline supply, carry the 9, divide by 4 IPA's.... ummmm yea, I should be about 99 years old by 325K miles. Done! Nice plan! Pat self on back.)

Yea. Really good topic here. Got my mental gears turning. Thanks for the discussion guys. Really helped clarify things for me.
