I put silver star ultras in low beams and the equivalent of the ultras made by Phillips I had taken out of the fogs of my 04 f-150. Also put sylvania zevo leds in the fogs noticeably whiter. Also enabled Bambi mode in forscan. I hate the yellow 2700k ish beam of the cheap priced factory bulbs. Been running those ultras for years in my f-150. I'm sure some research and online purchase would yield better luck. But locally like yourself it's what's available around me, and I will not go out after dark with so much as an amber side light out with the local po-po and myself relationship to give them any reason. With all that said the ranger has a better beam download than my old f-150 but the later had better spill to the sides. I'd love to go drop in led bulb upgrade but I feel that technology isn't there yet in a reflector housing. Also I'm way to cheap to by those aftermarket headlight loaded led replacements.

I went LED. Properly aimed they are pretty good. Piaa makes a good bright white incandescent bulb but the life span is not the greatest.

Most of us are running auxito bulbs. Get the 12,000 lumen ones not 16k. Mine are aimed well and no flashing from other drivers. I did a lot of testing before taking it on the road and potentially blinding folks.

I did have one auxito LED bulb start going out on me after about a year (it started dimming slowly, so it took a bit to notice). haven't heard from others about experiencing this, so I'll figure it's one of those very occasional things.

I do like them a good bit otherwise. I get the very occasional flash from folks, but I suspect it comes from people who will flash at pretty much any new vehicle with clear headlight housings. I had the same thing happen when my previous car was new (that car kept the factory halogens for ~10yrs I think).

I ran Diode Dynamics bulbs in my Focus ST (with the halogen housing), and had a very good experience with them.

If you want clear and bright night vision, don’t waste your time with halogen. I tried just about all of them. These are Auxito LED’s. They are adjusted properly and do not blind oncoming traffic. Cut off is pretty good too.

Here is a post from a member that used brighter halogen bulbs to his satisfaction.

I put a set of Vosla +50's in my son-in-laws Ranger. He is not much of a "car" person, but he immediately noticed the difference. They are the H11's that come from the factory. Your factory bulbs are the "long life" stye, which are terribly dim. No need for any adjustment to the headlamps with these bulbs. Vosla are high end Phillips bulbs. Slightly less yellow, around 3500k, and much brighter. I have used Vosla halogens for years. My Ranger and my wife's Explorer are factory LED, but in my Sport Trac that my son drives we also have the Vosla bulbs.

I was under the impression that all Bronco Sport headlights, regardless of trim, were led.

That being said I currently run the PIAA Xtreme White Plus in my Ranger…and to be perfectly honest, I haven’t noticed a significant difference between the stock halogens and the PIAA. I even compared them side by side, PIAA in one headlight and stock in the other, and couldn’t really see a difference. $80 not well spent. I would try the Sylvania ZXE Gold. Another member here swears by them and even sent me pictures of the headlights at night, and they looked really damn good. Happy hunting.

I had some osram night breakers for about a year before I went LED. While they were plenty bright they only lasted about 6 months for each set I replaced.
