Well... I absolutely mangled this trying to get it to allow more downward angle... There is a local guy through OB who said he would help me fab some better cups out of metal and make them work (and look) a lot better. I will post up when I get those completed. You don't really notice it unless you look, so it will do for now, but I have V2 coming and its going to be a whole lot nicer.

this should easily be pulled out without requiring paint. my ford dealer pulled a couple some time back on my expedition. if you got it with se warranty more likely it has that addition too

Like Edson said try calling a PDR guy it looks like it should pull right out. After that some rubbing compound and wax will hopefully make it look like brand new.

I sure hope so...but have to wait til next week to do it. Jeanies father passed away yesterday (much of my being distracted) and we go back to VA this week for the funeral and stuff.

Any of yall here in the PHX area have a recommendation for a PDR guy? Thanks in advance...

I don't know anyone out here that does PDR but you could try looking on nextdoor or Facebook. I don't do Facebook but nextdoor has come in handy for local references.

I may resort to Yelp for this.
I've deactivated my Facebook account and removed the Nextdoor app (a bunch of danged whiny, nosy, pissy people in my neighborhood apparently), and I was constantly annoyed with their posts every time I opened the app.

Thanks for the prayers for us, y'all. It's been a long, hard road but her daddy's at peace now. We are thankful for that.

You're right I forgot it was aluminum. I guess with all this atrophy I can't tell the difference between an aluminum & steel tailgate now.
