Do you have a windshield sun shade yet? I'm looking for one. I'd like one that fits well and is not a pain in the ass to deploy and store.

I see a couple varieties, those that 'Z fold' into a stowable rectangular shape and those that twist or pop up into shape, sorta like an instant privacy tent, where you wrestle the thing back into its pre 'sprung up' shape and fit into a bag.

Any recommendations?

I got this one from Amazon: https://a.co/d/1SMQYrv for about $17.
It’s a 2-piece poly shade with a wire around the outside. So you twist it to fold it to about a 12” circle. Amazon says it doesn’t fit the Rangers, but I think it fits pretty well.

This one fits well. I’d get one like it for my other car if I could find it.

I have a weathertech and it’s nice. Good fit, don’t need to turn down the visors for it to stay in place.

I have the Ford accessory sun shade. A little pricey But fits nice & comes w/a sack to store it in when not in use. Havent had a problem w/it in almost 3 years of use.

Google up Heatshield Store. Have used these on our motor home, wife's Subi and now my Ranger.
Set on the motorhome were still good after 9 years and went with it when we sold it.
True custom cut/fit for each vehicle. Roll up when not used.

X2 on Heatshield. You can get shades for the side windows too.

Yeah.....forgot to mention about the side windows. Had them on the motor home, based on an E-450 Ford van cut-away.. Front and sides totally blocked out sun when parked, and at night totally blocked the view from outside.

Now that I'm retired an my truck fits in my garage I don't feel the need for a big money one. I have a cheapy that does the job from walmart.

Be aware that the Lariat camera is offset to the right so many shades, including the factory ridged heavy duty one have enough interference to be annoying.

Thats the one to get and they last forever.
I've only had mine for six months now, and my truck is in full sun from sunrise to nearly sunset 5-6 days/week and I see no signs of any kind of deterioration or wear yet.

I've gone to my truck at 2pm, 3pm...and it's actually tolerable getting in it, and I live in a brutally sunny climate. If I can remember, or pay attention enough, I'll try and do some with/without temp testing. I'm curious to know, but I gotta say at a guess, it's at least 30 degrees difference.
