Wow! Congrats!
As others have said, all you really need is a good quality and sturdy car seat - turned backward for the first year. That'll keep the little rascal as safe as possible - which is all that really matters. Enjoy every minute and spend as much time as possible with them. They'll be...
Congrats! I also loved my SportTrac which I traded for the much newer Ranger. My first mod was a hard cover to match what I had in the SportTrac.
Thanks for the review and the pics! Beautiful land and scenery! I agree with almost all of your points. Looking forward to a long relationship with my Cactus that just turned over 4K miles in her first 3 months.
Guess I’m in the minority here with the WeatherTech one. I like it. Easy to install and seems to work very well. https://www.weathertech.com/ford/2022/ranger//stone-and-bug-deflector/
I got this one from Amazon: https://a.co/d/1SMQYrv for about $17.
It’s a 2-piece poly shade with a wire around the outside. So you twist it to fold it to about a 12” circle. Amazon says it doesn’t fit the Rangers, but I think it fits pretty well.
Congrats on the new truck and welcome! Sounds like you actually did okay for getting one today as opposed to ordering. I happened on a similar deal in July with my Cactus FX4. They had ONE Ranger on the lot and I liked it. So it worked out. I paid less than sticker, but they gouged me a bit on...
Nice truck - looks almost just like mine except mine is FX4, not a Tremor. If you don’t want the steps, let me know how much you’d want to ship them over here. ?
Welcome!
Ha ha ha! Nope. My wife drives it most of the time and she keeps the offset at +5 MPH. So she's not going to get any tickets going 70 in a 65 - which is pretty much her whole path to work.
Our Explorer already does this with "intelligent cruise control" - it actually reads the speed limit signs and adjusts your cruise control to your chosen speed limit offset.
My only complaint about the RSW is that it usually wipes once when I start up in the mornings - and I park inside. So it just does that one wipe on a dry and likely dirty windshield. :frown: But everything else about them, I like.
