We need to get an Apple air tag on him. I think @DukeCanBuildit can track him down and take care of that.
He’s LoJacked and his truck’s LoJacked but he still alludes me. Even Find My iPhone isn’t helping me out. I might have to boot his truck so he’s restricted to walking or public transit. That way, I might be able to get a better idea about where he’s at.

Actually, he’s good as of yesterday but I think we should get used to seeing less of his avatar and comments on the forum - he’s a busy boy and there are only so many hours in a day. However, shirking t-shirt responsibilities is uncalled for!

BANNED - ONE YEAR!

I heard dampers make your PP smaller
logically makes sense as physical activity promotes testosterone , thank you for another reason not to join the damper movement. My avatar shows my devotion to physical activity such as opening/closing my own .

The damper people are like libs. they call people who dont agree with them haters. I dont hate dampers, just have given my opinion that they are unneeded. Sorry if that offends you. The con is a "waste of money."

Ok so I know the tailgate damper is extremely popular but for me it’s take it or leave it I guess. I’ve not been in situation where I couldn’t just lower it by hand so it doesn’t slam. But hey it’s only like $40 so why not right? Before I get one I’d like to know if there’s anything any of you don’t like about it.
The major downside is that all the tough kids will make fun of you...

This blew up fast.
Serious question though, since asymmetry has been brought up as a negative....has anybody installed two dampers?

I don't know if that's a good idea. Can you imagine what that would do to Chris' equation?

Easily fixed, X(1/2)X2 ( Half the effort required) - and probably twice the crap heaped on them - so no net change!

I hate doors or anything slamming or hitting the limits of travel just me from my old machinist days I guess. I have found mine pinches the tailgate cable when closing and has kinked the cable. I see no way to have this avoided so may replace the cable and remove the Damper. Love it but cant keep replacing the cables.

There's a drug that can fix that. Wonder if Dave has stock in pharmaceuticals ?.
So, would it help to paint the damper blue?

Sounds like grounds for legal action unless you are made whole by refunding your cost of the damper, cables, time and around $250k for mental anguish. Have to believe there are some attorneys that specialize in damper litigation.
