Well, had a build date for August 5th, last week it was change to the the week of the 15th. Today it was changed to the week of the 22nd. I think they have too many orders to fill.
I'm starting to think I'm not going to get a 2022 MY.

Do you have a VIN yet? If you do, you're definitely getting a 22.

yes they do. the order tracking site isnt working again today. i got on ford chat awhile back and they said scheduled for 8/19 build. on there today and all they could tell me was "in production". does anyone at ford know wtf is going on? aaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhhh!

I believe Ford changes their Michigan Assembly plant production line sometime in mid-October for the next model year production run.

The order for my '20 Lariat was placed on 8/18/19 with the dealer and was submitted to Ford on 8/26/19 and was assembled on 11/19/19, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

My dealer transmits special and stock orders just once a month, hence the 8 day delay in the order actually being transmitted to Ford.

All told, it took exactly 5 months (to the day) from the time I personally placed the order to the day I took delivery.

Hang in there, I am almost certain your new Ranger will be a 2022

I've got a 8/22 build date, confirmed via email from Ford sent June 30th. I've gotten no further emails or notice of change of build date. The Ford Tracker seemed to work after a couple tries this morning. I found I have a window sticker, which I've since downloaded.

If this week's builds are bumping into next week's (8/22), I wonder if my 8/22 build will get bumped out a week, too. No notice of that yet. Mine's a Cactus Gray Crew Cab XLT FX4 with 301a and Tow.

Ordered back on March 21st.

Salesman 'guaranteed' I'll get whatever discounts were available at time of order OR at time of delivery. Any guesses what discounts might be available come, guessing now, late September or early October, assuming a month for delivery?

I don't remember if the dealership financing would honor the financing rate at the time of order.. I should've paid closer attention to that. I have no idea what the rates are right now.

Check with some banks and/or credit union.
Have that ready to fall back on if the dealership seems too high.
Either way, make sure there is no penalty for paying off early or refinancing if a better rate becomes available.

The tracking website doesn't provide me anything other than a timeline and a link to the window sticker... not that I know of anyhow. Does it just not let you login at all or is it missing info?

when i enter my order number and vin it just takes me back to the same page to re-enter them again. on an endless loop

Sorry to here the horror stories here.
Been waiting on my hopefully ordered ranger sincu February 27. Build date of the week of August 8. Maybe someone wants to drive down here to pick up mine when it gets here?? Think ill just keep mine. Credit is not what it was when i got my first ranger and i really doubt they can give me what i want in payments.

Figure it will get here............
November, December?????
