I just watched Tim Bartz weekly video at Long McArthur ford saying if you have a vin, you are getting a 2022MY vehicle. I was told from the initial contact with my dealer it could be 9 months for delivery.

Check to see if you got your window sticker.

This part of the wait may seem like the longest....

For me the longest wait is actually right now. I'm in production and can't wait to get the email saying it's complete. Went into production on Aug 9th and it feels like a month waiting to get an update!

EDIT - just checked the order tracking page and there's a button "NEW VEHICLE GUIDE" that I swear wasn't there before so I checked my FordPass app and my home tab has a new button to "Activate Vehicle." Good gravy it's really happening!

Each time I talk to the dealer, the response he gets from Ford is "next week". First is was 7/28, then 8/6, then 8/13. Last time I talked to him it was 8/17. Not sure where it is nor when it'll be arriving. :-(

so the ford tracker message that "this can take a few days" means it will take 9 days. or more. not really my definition of a few. but it gives me hope! good for you!

Just got a call from my dealer. They know where the truck is (~50 miles from the dealer). The hold up was because the truck was shipped (via rail) to one of the local ports and was to be offloaded onto a transport truck to go to the dealer. The problem has been that the workers at the port were on strike. The strike has been settled, so as soon as they can get my truck onto a transport it should arrive at the dealer (realistically I'm expecting next week).

So woke up to 2 emails from Ford today, about 2 hours apart.

I knew about this yesterday:

I will need to be patient about this one, though, now that it 'officially' in the shipping tranche.

I know that it is sitting in Michigan waiting to be 'chosen' for transport among all the other vehicles there.

The tracker even matches the emails.

I am hoping - but not necessarily confident - it does arrive then, but I will not be able to pick it up until at least September 6 as I will be traveling for my daughter's wedding.
