Let me offer that I have been reading the thread since the beginning. If you recall I have made a good effort to help the OP solve his issue.
Your comment, if directed at me, is out of line.
Can we all just take a breath and remember who the real enemy is? Tacoma owners

Aren't you the guy who commented on how good the 'meth tea' brewed at homeless camps is?

Never thought of that! A few do appear to be bent but overall it seems ok. Is there anything in particular that's best to clean it? I can take the grill off easily enough.
Just rinse it out with your garden hose clean all the bugs out

Yet, you knew where it would go. Don't play coy. You tossed that out there with a purpose
What if he did? Took a page out of your book right? You get your entertainment by pushing peoples buttons. Well how’s it feel?

No I'm telling the truth. Many post without going back and rereading what the OP updated. If you took that as calling you out that's on you.

If you didn't, I apologize. You're well aware im not afraid to call it out like I see it.
Your friends though, jumped all over it and continue to do so and continue to try and antagonize me. See above
I'm not going to continue down this road but I will say one last thing about the highlighted comment.

You have said on here repeatedly “I’m an asshole” yet you don’t like the fact that others will call you out and treat you the same way. There's no denying this as there's way to many post from you where you've said this. Now you don't like the fact when some say something towards you. You just might want to step back and think how others feel when you do this to them. You have told me MANY times to "stop censoring posts and let things play out". When I do YOU don't like it when it's directed at you. That's why I said pot meet kettle.

Our '88 Ranger was converted over to R-134 after the dryer/accumulator medium failed. Pulled 48F after the conversion - felt as cold as previously.
I had my ‘91 Lincoln converted and it was cold but not as good as it was on R-12.

I just cleaned my central home AC system. At the box stores they sell cleaner that is a spray foam. So on the condenser fins and the exchanger fins I sprayed this stuff on. On the outside unit I can power wash it after spray sits for awhile. Made a huge difference in efficiency of my home unit. I would think the grille on the nose of our trucks is easy enough to aim through to do the same thing. Might just be the amount of road grime is keeping your exchanger from being efficient

Yeah that is a good thing to look into cause ours are front and center and pick up a lot of stuff fairly easily

I rinse mine off every time when we have a dust storm here. You wouldn't believe the amount of dirt that comes out of it after one of those storms. I've seen those spray foam cleaners at Lowe's and once my free cleaning are done I'll start using them. I bought a new AC last fall and they gave me 3 years of free maintenance and cleanings.

Couple of things based on experience over the years and outside of the things already discussed.
- First and foremost. Take your vehicle to a speciality A/C shop. With the dealer, HVAC is only a sideline to the many other things done with the vehicles they maintain. An A/C shop deals with just A/C, they've seen it all and are better at A/C repair. Yes, you'll pay for it, but it beats taking your truck in repeatedly.
- Not mentioned is the "misting valve." R134, once returned to a liquid state goes through a misting valve (A/C folks may have another name for it) that "mists" the liquid before your A/C fan blows air over your evaporator inside the heater box. If there is even the slightest bit of dirt in the A/C system the valve can plug (note lack of cooling and frost on the A/C piping under the hood) or limit 134 flow. Replacement of this inexpensive valve is easy but the system must be evacuated. An A/C shop can diagnose this quickly.
I use to do A/C work. Principal is the same components my be different. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe our Rangers use R1234yf refrigerant. They can not be mixed.
Edit: My 19 blows ice cold.
