I came across this very interesting article about some uk group that hopped the pond and is now targeting people with large vehicles and deflating their tires, any of yall come across this or god forbid been a victim of it? Also lets try to avoid making it political and just focus on the idiots doing this not the party they belong to. SUV-Hating Tyre Extinguishers Group Is Deflating Tires as Protest (msn.com)

Only plus to this is that the are just deflating tires and not permanently damaging them. Still not an effective way to make a point in my opinion.
Yeah but even by deflating them you can still ruin the tire or mess up the rims, also if you have an emergency and have to get somewhere in a hurry you are screwed, my first thought goes to people with special need family members....

How do we avoid making this political?
I agree. It's not much of a plus.
Yeah when my late grandmother was in her last years she moved in with us cause of her cancer and we took care of her and got her to all her appointments and treatments and had to get her to the doctor more than a few times in a hurry and of course drove a suv cause it was easier to get us and her in it as well as all of her stuff, if we came out to the tire on the ground there would have been some problems. People are so shortsided and selfish these days

By generalizing and not talking about politics, this is a moral issue not a political one, committing crimes and vandalizing peoples property is wrong no matter what political party you belong to this isn't an excuse to bash one party or uplift another its to discuss and roast some miscreants

Frankly, in the Bay Area, I think people will be relieved to come out and only find their tires deflated. Beats having a window smashed and anything of value taken, which is pretty much a daily affair. Of course, in SF, I suspect one probably doesn't actually preclude the other... :(

Pretty sure this won't be coming to Idaho. :)

We need locking valve cap now! or just carry a compressor :) Oh wait.... the Ranger isn't large enough to draw their attention.
Or get a compressor and onboard air, and use this as a way to justify the expense to the wife lol. And these guys don't strike me as the type to know much about cars so I wouldn't feel that safe if I lived in any of those areas

I do carry my small portable Viair compressor at all times. Sadly the whole world is just going down hill these days and it's really sad to see.

I think these idiots should be concerned about other things people carry.

Nice. This will result in someone getting hurt. Or much worse. I. For one. Am very protective of my property.
Well, if I saw a big man coming at me in the dark wearing huge sunglasses and a mixing bowl on his head, I’d run like hell and think twice about doing it again.
