So everybody should be asking the real question how much more power does this truck make versus the current gin with a 93 performance tune. Then figure out a dollar amount per horsepower and torque.

The end question is dollar for dollar which is the smarter buy, a $500 tuner or a whole new truck.

This argument only applies to those if you were interested in performance if you just want it for the prestige and looks than whatever.
According to the UK video showing what appears to be the exact same truck. It comes with a 3.0 twin turbo V6 @285 HP & 360 ft lbs.

3.0L is 30% more displacement over the 2.3L and twin turbo for 0.5% HP gain, and 16% torque gain.

UK also have a 2.0 diesel option in the Raptor, but I'm not sure on the exact figures and doubt it will be available here.

I see a ton here too. Even on vacation we saw a bunch but they were mostly 4dr Broncos and I think I only saw one or two 2 dr ones. I ordered mine in a 2dr so if I ever get I'll be a unicorn for a little while. ?

i wish they would make an "xl" version of the raptor. sans flash and imax size screen. just add the power and gears ability paint it in a good color and let me have my way it lol
That screen is the one thing I’m not keen on - I actually passed on two other 2019s because they had the electronics package - all I wanted was the tiny 4” (?) screen in my bare bones 300A package.

Some folks would hate my setup but we all have different tastes.

We can assume for the moment those are at the crank not at the wheels. At least on paper my 93 performance tune puts my ranger horsepower to roughly 360 and my torque at about 410 and that is with zero other modifications at the crank.

Keep in mind the above is all on paper guessing but I think it makes my point.

The new front end is not a bad look. If anything it’s a bit timid, ford should have got a bit more aggressive with it to distinguish it from the maverick. The drawback for me is that it’s squared off like the other mid sized trucks. One of the major appeals to me of the 5G is the slant of the front end. When out on the trails the added visibility is very noticeable over other trucks.

The width of the raptor is one of the big draw backs for me. On the trails I’d prefer to avoid scrape on everything.

Personally I’d say I “get” why people would buy it though, unlike people buying tremors. At least there are a lot of cool perks, unlike the tremor where you get slightly better suspension and painted things. Standard rangers with OME BP-51 >tremor.

I wouldn’t mind a 360 degree camera setup though. That and a front locker, and on-board air…. And pro-power.

Do some research. My Tremor also has 1/2” wider fender flares!

keeping this truck for a few more years. Would take a serious look at a Raptor version for MY 2025+

That has to be a misprint . This site list the 3.0 much higher .

Love the drop from airplane! The physics bother me though, it seems like with the airplane going at minimum speed, I would guess more than 100mph it would seem like the truck would hit the pavement going backwards very fast, yet the video makes it look like its NO problem? Any ideas how this works?
After looking again I see the truck comes to a immediate stop.
