My wife's 2020 XLT has tilting headrests in the front, mine does not. She does not have folding rears, though. Neither do I, but that would be nice. Adding that to the list of stuff I wish I had: tilting front headrests and folding back headrests. Boooo, Ford.
The front headrests should tilt, mine you push them back, they release and drop all the way forward, then you can ratchet them back. There is no button on the fronts. My original rear seat headrests were fixed, they moved up and down but did not tilt. For the recall they checked the child seat anchors and replaced the headrests with ones that fold down with a release button. I have a SCab, a SCrew may be different, I don't know.

Here’s how the front headrests should work…….

Beautiful 75 degree day here.
Gave Grumpy a "summer doo", his summer coat of 303 Graphene, 303 interior detail.
Gave the Jayco a 303 coat on the front fiberglass cap.

Had Incognito PPF added to the front paint, skid plate, headlights and fogs last Friday. Checked fluids, torqued lugs, checked air pressure, gave it a good bath in prep for vacation coming up.

I’m familiar, because of my (ex)wife’s headrests that do tilt. Mine are fixed and do not tilt.

I’m not surprised Ford did that - It’s not like I ever tilt mine anyway - I don’t think you’re missing much.

Thanks, I had it backwards. But then I haven't had to mess with mine in over a year.

Right? Because no one really needs to do it, ever. :D

Sun finally come out today so I put my Black Platinum smoked stainless steel tailgate letters on. I wasn't sure how they would look on the shadow black, But I am quite pleased. They are subtle and are just enough to show, which is what I hoped for.. Next.... the smoke chrome front and back black ovals. Gotta love Father's Day.

My 2022 XL 101A Scab 4X2 came with foldable rear headrest but no tilt and lock front headrest.

Those letters do look great! Was it pretty easy to get them lined up?

Actually it took me about 15 min. I just lined the top of each letter to the top edge of each indent. And the letters being solid helped a lot.

Test fit the trim before you do any trimming...you may not need to. My seat rails are probably different than the manual.
I finally installed them! Took me a bit to figure out how to pop out the trim covering the mounting bolts. I didn't use the torx for my manual seats. And I didn't have to trim anything (phew).

I loosened the rear bolts quite a bit and tilted the seats back and used the full Seat Jackets lift on both seats 3/4 inch). The right passenger locating peg was a little hard to get lined back up, but it went well overall.

The trim does have the 3/4 inch gap now but I won't ever notice it (except maybe if I ever vacuum, stuff can get under there).

And Wow! the seats feel like luxurious bucket seats and are more comfortable. I didn't find them uncomfortable to start with, but I can imagine this will be more comfy on longer trips.

Thank you @Grumpaw for the encouragement and photos. =)
