@LaBalbe Old NC 105 from Lake James to Linville is a nice road. On the opposite side of Linville Gorge is quite a few forest service roads and also the drive up to Table Rock. Also, Brown Mtn Beach along Wilson's creek is beautiful. Globe Rd. from Colletsville to Blowing Rock...
