Woke up at 6 am, drove two hours for a testing site in a forest. Took the test. Passed. Drove back home. Pretty good mileage (about 22-23 mpg)

Got some qualification card (to be delivered) which doesn't have a English name, some university list it as "Forest Ecosystem Management Qualification". Sounds tough, but it's just some plant identification, legislation and outdoor exam on what to do to different valuable environments (legal, recommendations & certifications like FSC).

But hey, I'm qualified to manage forest ecosystems now  (should anyone require that).

Congratulations - when you’re done there, make your way here - we have about 350 million hectares of boreal forest, so you should be busy for a while.

Well, I did what I seem to like doing best with Soupie! Another dump run, first thing before work. I may have an addiction problem ...

Took ranger to the local gas station and rented a tipping trailer.

Came home and started to push the dead front mower to the trailer, but the angle was way too much for pushing the ~300kg (650lbs) mower. Didn't have a winch (still on the shopping list) but Raptor came to rescue. With the two recovery bolts I was able to attach one ratchet strap to mower and one to each recovery bolt. Then I hooked them all together as Y and tightened the first prong, then the second, released the first and rinse & repeat. 5-10 inch at a time until the tipper came down and I was able lock the tipper, strap the mower and drive it to the repair shop.

After that I came back and loaded the trailer with all the stuff which is too long or too big for my crappy trailer and drove it to the waste processing facility.

David I've been trying to figure out if you have a Dump fetish or a Soupie fetish? ? I think it's a close tie, glad you're enjoying your Ranger. ?

That's a good question and I don't know. =(

However, I will empathically state that the damper was my gateway into this bizarre world. =D

And you're spot on, I absolutely love my Ranger. And you and many others on this forum have enriched that enjoyment with great knowledge (like seeing your gear when driving to setting the back-up cam to stay on when pulling forward) and awesome mods (however, the resulting mods to my wallet aren't always so great!). =D

Thank you for being an awesome moderator and all-around awesome person (perhaps even stunning!). =)

Thank for the kind words. Most on here are very helpful and work hard to keep this a great forum but there is a drawback. It does cause you to drain bank accounts and wallets because we all love spend other peoples money. ?

Yup the damper is the gateway to some really weird fetishes, maybe I should add a warning label to them?:bandit:
