Hey all,

So, I have a strange issue that is not accel/decel related. When I am at a cruising speed, no matter if its 35 or 75. With part throttle input or, if cruise control is set, when the engine is around 1500 rpm, it feels like the trans is engaging and disengaging. Almost like its a lugging issue but, its not. When the jitter is going, if I shift into sport or, if I simply apply a little throttle, it goes away.
I thought it could be the interior TPS but, using cruise negates that. Could i just be low on fluid? I dont have any other issues with a rumble on takeoff. I do have the typical constant vibration at highway speeds because of the 2 piece driveshaft and, plan on getting a 1 piece to address that. I do not have a lift, other than a leveling kit in the front, that was on it when I got it. I have had this 2019 since sept.
Its got 103k on it now.

Have you ever had the transmission serviced? Could easily be that. Walnut blasted the back of the valves? Unlikely a specific rpm issue. Ever clean the throttle body? EGR equipped motors dirty up the throttle body and require cleaning. Not terrible to do but could cause the issue. Change spark plugs?

Do you lock out gears to keep it from low load rpm? Get it to 1600 and I bet it will be better. What gas octane you running?

Regardless of octane, being 87-91/91 or, even the cheaper 88(e30)

I havent had anyhting for the trans serviced yet. I bought the truck with 90k on it, I change my own oil but, I think I'll let the trans shop change the fluid and filter.

I hadnt thought about cleaning the EGR nor blasting the trans.

Just changed my sensor. The clamps are an absolute pain in the ass. I wound up just grabbing and twisting the small one for it to come off and, the larger one, was a combo of using my gerber multi tool, grabbing and twisting and, a little swearing.
Removed the squeeze clamps from the new one and replaced with worm clamps.

Completely solved what I initially thought was a transmission issue!!
