They fit. And they look damn good. Thank you to those who helped advise me on the new shoes. No rubbing. No issues.
Those look really nice on your truck! I was surprised at how comfortable the KO2's ride for being A/T's. Also, the reviews show that they are long lasting.

I really like the looks of the KO2'S, but have been hesitant about the ride quality. May have to check them out.

Bob,
I've made 3 substantial trips over different types of terrain in the country, cities and freeways and the K02's rode as smooth and as comfortable as the Firestone destinations (not A/T's but A/S) that I had on my previous Ranger.

After my factory tires need to be replaced, I will definitely check them out.
Thanks Paul

It's been a long time since I've had the white lettering outside on my tires and really like the look. If the tires ever needed to be removed will have the whites turned out!

So apparently the two wheel drive Ranger will not take 265 / 70 / r17 BFG KO2'S without a leveling kit. They rub on the crash bars at half steering wheel rotation, so I will beginning that done next. Mayhem dual lug rims with -12 offset.
Edit- also had to get fabtech crash bars

265 70 on scs 8.5 - 10 I've a little rub at full turn, it will rub for sure if you go offroading

finally someone with more aggressive setups.... looked through this entire thread to find someone running a -10 or -12 since thats what i plan to run since im going to take the scs wheels off my tacoma id imagine both of you got new crash bars as i saw one already said but did any of you get a 1" or 2" level to help clear?

Firestone Destination XT 265/70/17; fits fine with no rubbing/clearance issues.

Hope you wouldn't mind chiming in when you've got some miles on those! I've been researching a ton of options for a 265/70 r17, usually suspects include Falken Wildpeak AT3, General Grabber AT2, Toyos.. this Firestone Destination XT is the burlier version of the AT2, but only comes in E rating, right? Must be heavy? How's the MPGs, noise, wet, dry, dirt and snow handling if you've had a chance to test in those conditions?

I want a tough AT tire that doesn't weigh a ton, that's decent to good in most conditions.

I didn't use any leveling on mine, it has a EU bumper so maybe its a little different (ugly) but it run just a little bit a t fill turn and just sometimes, a small cut of the plastic will solve it. Wheels. Are as you say scs 8.5 - 10 with bf at 265 70, a friend use nitto Mt with fuel 9 - 12 and no lift.

I was torn between Wildpeaks and these. I read some rubbing with Wildpeaks as they are bit taller and a bit fatter than other brands in same size. They are an E Load Rating, but only real difference in ride quality I felt was a bit of a "harder" feeling underneath. Road noise is minimal, maybe a little bit thats only noticeable with the windows down. Not as heavy as the K02 or Wildpeaks. So far on wet and dry pavement they perform great. I've yet to venture onto some real off-road stuff, but tread pattern and depth is on par with the competitors, so I am positive they will perform well.

Price was good and they ticked the boxes I needed. Id definitely recommend them. Good solid AT tire, without sacrificing on-road performance due to weight.

I am taking the truck out forwildfire work this year, so I will update when it sees some off-road action.

I had the dealership install KO2s before I picked my 22, you won’t be disappointed
